"Postcards"? Is it really necessary?

I know this is kind of procrastinating, but do you really need a "postcard" or whatever it is to get your badge?
I have my ID and everything, but a "postcard"??

Can a receipt work? I kept it ever since I early-registered it.
'cause... this is the first time I'm ever going to this on a full weekend, and I don't really know what is needed when I get my badge.

If it has your name and addy and badge # and acct. #, it should work though....

E-postcards are not necessary but it's recommended as it makes the pick-up process faster.
