Last minute fail ._.; Birth certif. + school ID?

Yeah. I seem to always wait till last minute to do things.
I forgot to tell my mom to get my passport from the bank and now it's Friday (ei, con = tomorrow)

Am I allowed to use my birth certificate (no picture) and my school ID (with picture) together?
I am only going Saturday.

The restaurants here, are they in walking distance? If not, I think I will tag along with my friend's group and be a 5th wheel ._.

They are usually in a walking a distance. Just a few blocks away from the convention center.

I showed my college ID, no questions asked. The pre-reg people weren't anal/annoying. They were actually very nice. I hope everybody else experienced good customer service too.
