Trying to find an anime...

While I was at fanime this year, I saw an AMV for something that seemed interesting.  I'm not sure if it was an anime or a video game or what, but the AMV was shown Sunday night and featured a girl with an eye patch and a man appeared to be comforting her.  I know that's not much to go on, but does anyone out there know what I am talking about?  I've looked everywhere and can't even find the AMV I saw anymore as a reference.  Thanks!

You talking about Ef - Tale of Memories? One of the main girls has an eyepatch in that.
