Black and White Ball Question

I have been going for three years to Fanime 2010 will be my fourth. I have always wanted to go to the Black and White Ball... I just never had the courage to ask anyone. At fanime I crossplay the WHOLE weekend, do they condone that kinda stuff at the Black and White Ball? Or is it like boys with girls dressed as their own sex should be? XD

and if what is the dress code for the Black and White Ball?
I have a dress that is a nice dark brown with a pink ribbon under the breast. Will that work?
