Bak-Anime 2010! Bakersfield's first convention!

So, just letting the people know out there that there will be the first ever Bakersfield, CA anime convention happening on May 2!


It's being run by the same people who do Sac-anime so I hope it will be good!

It's a one day con (this year) and is taking place at the Double Tree Hotel off of Highway 99 and Rosedale Highway. The cost is $6 at the door (no pre-reg) and is going between 10-6 on Sunday May 2.


If anyone is near the area and would like to get some local con love going please come out and try to get Bak-Anime as a real con in the years to come!

Lol, yeah I hope more plp show up too but last year had a great unexpected turnout so we'll just have to see. FemPyro is the female version of the Pyro from a game called TF2. I'm doing an artist's rendition. Unfortunately, I wont have my flamethrower this weekend (still in pieces from Fanime last year) so yeah ^^

Yes! You should try TF2!!!!

And no, it broke at last Fanime's gathering and I haven't fixed it yet. Thinking about finding a fire ax before this weekend though ^^

Yup! They are running this Sac-Anime style and yes its at the same location this time...but in June-ish they wont have it at the Doubletree most likely
