I am interested in joining staff, or becoming a volunteer. However, none of the links to the information about them seem to be working. Are there alternative links, or what?

Also, I'm under 18, which eliminates a lot of positions for me. Could anyone tell me which if any departments would take me? I've only seen recent posts about two different departments, but the first I cannot join, and while I am interested in the other, I want to know if there are any other things I could do.

It would be amazing if someone could get back to me soon, and thank you for your time.

You can always come to a general staff meeting and talk with positions that are open. Although you are under 18, there are still other spots that take 18 and under. I think the only ones that have a strict 18+ policy are con ops and rovers?

(Also, the 2011 website hasn't been loaded yet, so maybe that also has to due to the links not working).

But when in doubt, try to e-mail heads of departments that you're interested in working for. If you just don't know, come to a meeting and usually departments will say that they are looking for young potential staffers. (:

The dates/times/places are usually posted in this forum.

Just as an FYI, MusicFest also has a strict 21+ policy.

Can i get some information on volunteering? like how many hours you have to work and  if there is crash space?

SOawesomeness

There's no crash space- basically you are no different from an attendee except that you have to work 20 hours (or was it 16) to get your membership reimbursed AFTER you show evidence that you worked.

Thursday, day zero, the hours count for double.

Also, you sign up to volunteer at Fanime, at-con.

Staffing is a different story. (:
