Already registered, save changes w/out paying again

I want to edit my fan name, I went thru the edit/modify information screens from the "already registered" main screen. I edit the information just fine, but it looks like I have to complete the registration process to save the changes. That is complete and pay. So I am afraid to finish the screens because I don't want to be changed again.

Is there some way to save changes that doesn't involve the payment screen?

I changed mine and I was not charged again. I think. It hasn't gone through on my credit card yet.
