Help making a prop

Hello everybody, Bread here.  I was wondering if anyone could suggest a wood to fabricate a scythe.  Kind of the like of this sort, the one to the far left to be specific.  And while I'm asking.  Maybe some help with the fabric for Death's robe?  Thanks for your time, and help!
