Hi everyone,
My name is Jerry :twisted: and I’m filling in for Camilla while she takes vacation this year :cry: .
Well we just finished fanime 04 just a couple of months ago and I would like to know what you guys liked, didn't like and new ideas you guys have. I’ve been with with fanime con since 2001 and been attending it since its 1st days at foothill college. Tell us what marathons, what kind of anime you would like to see (action, drama, comedy, or yaoi) and how we can make it more fun for you guys and gals. Were open to all ideas and we look forward to hear from you soon.

Well guys/gals we are going to add a new room to our video programming.
In this new room we will be showing anime parodies, amvs past and present, and home made anime.
Also we are going to add a new late night programming for people who don't want to watch hentai or yaoi. It will be called anarchy anime/amvs we will be showing anime that we can't show during reg con hours due to its violence or subject matter. the same goes for the AMV’s as well. this will be where there are no rules to the amvs, anything goes (but if its going to hentai related its going to the hentai room were it will find a better audience) we hope you guys/gals will enjoys this years new ideas since we are very excited to bring them to ya!

Hi Jerry!
You avatar scares me. .@_@; Me too :shock: This is off mostly of topic as far as Video Programming but I suggest more series/writer (ex: series=Ranma 1/2, Inuyasha, ext. writer=Rumiko Takahashi) related events such as videos by a one writer or from one series, as well as activitys in the main hall with the same sort of theam. one idea I had inparticular was a booth where you can make a story where through out the con each person adds a scene that fits into the existing story, adding any anime/manga caracter they want acordingly and at the end of the con post the finished story on the board. I also suggest scheduled camara shot times for cosplayers from specific series (ex: Ranma1/2 cosplayers) |

this is just a wild guess but it would seem you not like but love ranma 1/2. will see what we can do. i never make promises but as for video we can see if we can show some ranma. if we do i would rather do a best of ranma fights then just show 1-8 since i think we all seen at least that much of the ser and + it makes it more intressting. i my self like the ser. that was one of my 1st ser i saw. it was that guyver (anime not that live action mmpr wanabe since it was dir by the ser dir ugh :roll: ) and the fist of the north star movie. oh by the way if you guys want to see what i look like i'm in the ranma 1/2 final dvd at the party in the house of blues in disney land. i'm in the left hand corner i'm the fat dude with my skinny asian friend in glasses angelo.
the other thing you wanted to see semd that idea to live programming. thats there dept. it sounds like you want to do a chain fanfiction.

A how would you like 3 nights of hentai and yaoi. There is no guarantee that it will happen but I would like to hear what you think of the idea. Also what if shirts were made for these events. Like a fanime logo shirt with one of anime events like anime anarchy, hentai night, or yaoi night on the back. That’s something I might do for you fans if you like the idea. yes it true. if your free sunday at 10am i going to have a karate tournament at west valley college in the main gym. i will be repesenting de anza college and will be compeating in kata, kumate and team kumate. it will be fun and hey you get to watch the fat dragon get beat to a pulp hehe.

Bleach marathon! We're watching it in anime club right now! And a Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon marathon-or Sailor Stars. That would be badass! Maybe DerCosplay-past and present??
Also keep in mind that not all insomniacs want to watch extreme violence instead of porn, parodies or yaoi. Leave an option for something light-like Saint Seiya or Samurai Troopers, something old school. Oh, an in the fan parodies section, can Fanboy Bebop get shown again? That's funny as hell.
