Death Note Gathering for 2008!!!!!

I kind of hate to say this, but.....that Death Note gathering we threw together at the last minute (literally just walked around and grabbed as many DN cosplayers we could find) last year was more eventful than this one....Then again, it's hard to beat the Death Note Wars XD

I wasn't too impressed with the Gathering this year.

Ahh, yeah.  This was my first gathering but I felt kind of unwelcome.  I was late, so that's my fault.
But it was so hard to talk to anyone, I ended up just leaving.
Hopefully I can redeem myself next year by being on time.
Why were you disappointed?

When I cosplayed Mello I showed up with my own little posse (the short red-eyed  Mikami, a Matt, and another Mello) to the gathering, buuut... I have to agree, the gathering didn't seemed to be too organized and I didn't get very friendly vibes from anyone either. Everybody seemed to be doing their own thing, so we didn't really know what to do and ended up leaving early. I actually found and hung out with friendlier DN cosplayers later in the weekend though, so that made up for it all~~
