On a serious  note, I'd like to see the game in action at least. How's the balance?

Well, in Japan there is still a ton of Toki players, but they're winning less and less they did back in the game's release. It seems alot more balanced now, just very very little Jagi and Mamaiya play.

Also, it has been released that it's a SBO game again this year, not like it really matters though.

Balance wise, let's just say some characters are better than others. A lot better.

I personally use Shin. I remember at '07, I beat pretty much everyone I played, with the exception of my friend. He's a beast with Souther.

That video is about 2 years old, when the game was ONLY Toki and maybe a bit of Raoh and Rei. The game has developed to where Toki can't win by mashing anymore, he seems to be like A-Sakura, where he's really damn good, but he can easily be beaten. Have you ever seen any Souther or Shin players? I recommend going through Pharaon's account, he's a Raoh player from France but he's been in Japan recently and recorded a lot of matches. http://www.youtube.com/user/Pharaon92i

Damn that Toki!!!! Him and his crazy Jesus Beam!!!!!! A stupid combo into instant kill....... damn........ I'd personaly use that Kenshiro, since you know, hes the main character. But I hate seeing this all the time:
