Garfield Minus Garfield

I think this is perhaps the funniest thing I've seen in ages. Now, I like Garfield, or at least I did. I feel like the comic has really peaked and Jim Davis has been on autopilot for a long time now, but I found something that's actually really amusing.

You may have seen "Silent Garfield" before - a phenomenon wherein people photoshopped out Garfield's speech bubbles, so it appeared that Jon was just talking to his poor, silent cat by himself; but someone has upped the ante. This person photoshopped Garfield out entirely, so the comic turns into what's essentially a much, much sadder commentary on modern life. For example:

I couldn't agree with you more. I used to be a big garfield fan back in the 80's but it has gotten so repetitive and un-funny. I can't read it anymore. I have given up on newspaper comics some time ago.
