It's that time of year again! I'm gonna make Fanime Forum Badges again for 2008. I have my own photo printer and laminator now, so I can do all the production myself.
I'm going to mooch designs off of Tsubasa if he's still around. If you're interested in getting a badge this year, post a reply in this topic. Generally, these are the things I need from you.
A picture you want on it.

Q. Why do this?
A. It's a fun way to uniquely identify Fanime Forum members, plus I've always liked having a custom badge rather than just something the con gives you. After a couple years, it just became a tradition.
Q. What dimension/size do you need the pictures at?
A. As large as you can possibly get. For the most part, I will resize and crop down to the proper size, but it's important that you get the highest resolution possible because upscaling does wonderfully bad things to most pictures. If you really want the dimensions for your own editing, it will be at about 600 dpi on an (estimated) 3"x4" badge. I have a decent eye for design, so I'll make it fill in nicely on your badge and even edit them however you like.
Q. What happens if you don't find a picture?
A. This is possibly the funnest/creepiest thing I do. If I don't have a specific picture from you, I start researching your profile and previous posts to try to ascertain what kind of person you are and what picture you would like the most. >:3 It sounds totally creepy in that stalker-y kinda way, but I find it pretty fun figuring out things about people.
Q. How much am I charging?
A. Probably $1 for printing and laminating costs. If you happen to work at a printing store and can do such things for free *nudge nudge wink wink*, the badge price will drop to $0. These are just materials fees.
Q. Who can get one?
A. Anyone
Just make a post voicing your interest and make sure you're on the list maintained on the first page.
Q. Where can we pick it up?
A. This has been a jumbled mess for many many years. Typically I hand them off to Ryu or Tsubasa since they're muuuch more recognizable figures than I, so it would be easier to hunt them down. I'd like to meet everyone I make badges for since I put a fair bit of blood, sweat, and tears into them (as does Tsubasa), but it becomes a bit impractical.
