dose anyone know which hotels have shuttle services to and form the airport or if the convention center has one? I know Hilton does not.

You can check this site out: http://www.sanjose.org/visitors/maps/transportation1.php to see if there's one for Convention Center.

Even if your hotel doesn't have a shuttle service, there's a free shuttle that runs by the airport and takes you to the light rail line.  From there, it's relatively cheap ($1.75 one-way for adults) to take the light rail down to the downtown area where the hotels are.  The downside would be dragging your luggage from the light rail to your hotel, though.

Thanks for that info. My friends said they should be in the san jose area by the time my flight lands. So I just may be able to get a lift. I'll probably just take a cab for when going back...just have to remember to leave cash in my wallet or to find a credit union atm while at the con.
