5/1: Free Comic Book Day & Lee's Comics
« on: April 23, 2008, 12:26:34 PM »

FCBD is a promotional event by the comic book industry held every year. Most comic book stores are participating, often with sales. I only saw a Shonen Jump free comic book, but there are some manga-inspired American comics.

Lee's Comics is located in Mountain View and San Mateo. Print out the Lee's web page and get 4 free comics, instead of 2.

This is the day that I use almost an entire tank of gas just to go around and try to collect as much of these as I can.

Last years were pretty good, ranging from the Awesome Unseen Peanuts collection, to the "Why-would-you-even-waste-your-time-making-this-crap" Wolfman.

But most of it was actually pretty good.

Def worth the check out IMHO
