I spent what little money I had all at the con and lacked both money to prereg for the con in general for next year and for a table at the artist alley (which I want to do next year for sure). But once the website offers prereg I'll be all over it.

I'll probably be Staff for a while, but I just realized it but I've had the SAME staff number for the last 3 years now.

So Far my Rover numbers have been R035, R014, R009 (this year 2008).

I guess for regular Attendee does the Badge number change from year to year? or is it possible to keep the same Badge numbers for Fans ?

My staff number is 706 for both years...

I think for attendees though, it's by the number of people ahead of them when they register...
I got 1423 last year and 385 this year. o.0 You'd probably have to be super lucky to get the same badge numbers for each year...

I felt like such a loser. At the very end of con, I found out you could reg at the con, but I had no idea where, and it was closed already anyways from what they told me. xD

I've been going for four years, and I didn't know you could reg for the next year until MONDAY of the con! X_X

I don't know if I should register as soon as it opens online or wait until I know I can go for sure or not. I'm new here so be gentle with me ^_^ I live in Salem Oregon, a fair distance away, so I'm wondering if I can afford to go to Fanime or not in 2009 considering the train ticket there and back, the con, and hotel there. Plus I wouldn't be allowed to go by myself to California, so my sister would have to be able to afford it as well. How high does the registration fee usually get the latest you're allowed to register? Our convention in Oregon is small and the highest it gets is up to $40 so I'm not sure how high other cons go.
