I was wondering if anyone got my picture ? I was te lelouch running around with the purple contacts, but what I'm really interested in is for a short while in the game room during cosplay chess I ended up with probably a dozen different bits from other peoples costumes and ended up looking like some bleach code geass pokemon crossover, a bunch of people took pics and I'm really eager to see what it looked like thanks ^_^

Did anyone get pictures of me dressed up as a hunter from L4D?  I know that's generic, but I had a ton of blood all over my face (not red make up, I drenched myself in stage blood), and snakebites if anyone could notice.  I also had sharp nails too, if you can see them.  I'd post a picture, but I haven't found a single one yet.

there was also another person im just curious to know if he's like.. a famous cosplayer.

cause i found him twice and both his cosplays were just amazing.

i saw him as a Squall and as a uh.. Vash /i think thats his name/ i only took the picture of him in Vash cause i was so amazing. LOL; and i didn't even realize it was him till i got close enough to take his picture

and back on topic, well idk about anyone else, but i'll (and i did this at con) just compliment anyone i found interesting c:

like this guy Andrew, i was like "DUDE COOL HAT" and then basically he hung out with my friend Cyndi and me the rest of the con LOL.

and i also think Cosplaying helps too. c: especially cosplaying from a more mainstream/popular anime.

i did Euphemia this year and i just met so many people just from me cosplaying her o.o!!!

and actually even not-as-popular animes seem to work too. when i did my Hachi (last year) i met my Nana O threw forums and then we met up with a Ren and his other friend who was going to cosplay Takumi and yeah 8D!! good times. :D

Another question... I'm terrified of styling a wig. Is it hard? If nothing else I would have to make curly ma-bobbers at the front, because I am thinking of doing one of Meroko's costumes and her hair is odd.


If I do angel Meroko the hair would be similar, but hacked off short. Either way there are the curly ma-bobbers.

a lot of longer wigs (like hers would be) i find they tend to add a lot of bangs that are REALLY long, so i dont think it'd be too hard to pull the little curls in the front off

and actually i just had another thought LOL you could always get a blonde with long bangs and cut/style them that way, so they're extra long so you can actually get your curler around them c:

but as Yukari said, make sure its heat resistant or it will melt :(

Some of my favorite reasonably-priced wigs come from an ebay seller called cosplayDNA. There wigs are soft, easy to comb and style and are around the $20-$30 price range. The shipping is pretty fast too.
