Hey guys,

I don't know where else to put this but here goes.  I want to know if any of you know of any HAPPY HARDCORE/DNB remixes of ANIME themes.  I have PLENTY of remixes of videogame tracks and so forth but there's a major hole in the anime department and I REALLY want to make an effort to fill this for you guys.  So far I only have an Inner Universe remix that is really good but that's just about it.  LEMME KNOW ASAP.

-Gabe (Dark0)

I have two I might drop during my set, I'll PM them over to you

The dance has always been a multiday event every year. There will be three rooms this year so now you will have a better chance of being able to find something you'll want to hear :D

Oh wow, that's awesome!

Thanks for the info!

Speaking from previous experience, peace bonding is only available during convention hours and require you to be wearing the costume for the items you are wanting to peace bond.

Policies may have changed but I hope that helped out at all

Featured Genres:
   Touhou/Anime Music/Jcore
   Hardstyle
   Kpop
   Top 40s/Hip Hop
   Top 40s/Electro House
   Trap, Twerk, and Hip HOp
   Trance
        Electro House
        Hardcore and DnB
   Progressive House and Trance
   UK Happy Hardcore
   UK Trap[/b]

I really dig the huge variety of music, but I can't help notice... where's the love for Dubstep? I mean, Trap is OK, but what gives?

As someone who has tried a touch of dubstep in their set last year, it seemed like more people left and weren't into it moreso than into it. I also know in previous years, the outcry from guests was more negative towards dubstep at the dance so it's inclusion as a featured genre was omitted. Since it is not a featured genre, that does not mean any given DJ will not play dubstep at all in their sets.

I did find the genres a little confusing though as there isn't JPop as a genre and KPop is. As well as Top 40 not being it's own genre as all Electro House isn't Top 40 and vise vesa. What is really confusing is how Hardcore, DnB and Electro House are subgenres of Trance. wut

I'm in need of one, for a costume too of course. Just worried they're too small for an adult sized head
Eh, it can be a little awkward to finagle it comfortably, but I was able to get it on without much trouble or discomfort. On the bright side, the headband is actually a separate piece, so you could probably modify it or cook up a replacement to fit better. They're reasonably show-accurate in appearance too, with sound effects!  ;D

I would probably just mod them real quick in my hotel room if I could find them.

My girlfriend and I are going to be Fox and Falco from Star Fox / Smash Bros so we could use scouters so I hope I could find them 3:

On a scale of 1-10 on how hyped I am.

Heh, that reminds me, I need to remember to pack mine.  :P I mean, basically the only reason I got the damn thing was to wear it at cons!  ;D
DBZ Scouter? Where did you buy it and how much?

I want one :B

^ i'am as well except 1 of those 2 days is on Day 0 (Come buy stuff #ShamelessPlugging)

I am a huge fan of the swap meet (it's actually one of my favorite things about Fanime; What time does it start and the location for Day 0?)

There most definitely has been bingo in the past years but fills up quick so make sure to check the gaming hall and preregister beforehand

Gaming / Fanime and Cards Against Humanity
May 12, 2014, 01:03:38 PM
I wanted to clarify this before I brought my set but is Cards Against Humanity banned at Fanime? I may have briefly overheard this last year but I wanted to confirm.

I could understand why the convention would feel that way but it's a harmless card game. It's not like we're trying to show a German stuff film *coughSERBIANcough*

so Fanime, what say you?!?
#57
You drive a hard bargain

but I object with $19.50 and a firm handshake
#58
I think $20 for each 3DS game would be a fair price

Day 0 swap meeeeeet~!

Awesome to the max!!!!

  • GF and I have a group costume this year we're really excited about
  • I was selected this year to DJ the dance on Saturday Night 9PM - 11PM (come check me out)
  • I actually got my hotel reservation to go through
  • Going to show my friend who isn't into anime his first convention

I'm excited :D
