Stage Zero would like to thank all the FanimeCon 2011 attendees who came by our Stage.

We are looking for feedback from attendees and fellow staffers about our show this year. What is it that you like? What is it you didn't like? What would you like to see back? What do you think we can change? Any and all feedback will be greatly appreciated.

Hey folks! If you've taken some photos around the convention and would love to share them with everyone at FanimeCon, drop them off at Stage Zero, and we'll showcase some of our favorites during our shows of "What you Missed At FanimeCon" and even a part of our morning shows "What's Happening At FanimeCon Today"!

We will have available a multi-card reader to recognize most camera cards.  These pictures will also be seen during Closing Ceremonies as well!

But of course!  8)

Stage Zero is the place to be for Saturday, May 28th, and Sunday, May 29th, at 1 p.m., as Fanimaid Cafe presents Fanimaidā˜†LIVE 2011!!! Watch these wonderful performances, and after, visit the Fanimaid Cafe for a enjoyable dining experience!

Stage Zero will be having late night programming for all the days of the convention (with the exception of Day 0).  Evenings between 6 p.m. to about midnight will have the Anime Game Show with Scott Rux, Mike's Giant Game Show, and Fireside Chat.  During the late evening hours from midnight to about 8:30 am will be filled with Asian films and anime movies, and late night Sunday and Monday will have Asian music videos blocks, with a selection of J-pop, J-rock, and K-pop.

However, I would concur with HeeroYuy135; sleep is your friend, and we wouldn't want any of FanimeCon's attendees feeling ill due to the lack of rest as well as food.

I'll be there for Day 0 to get ready for Stage Zero.

Then again, a lot of FanimeCon staff will be there at Day ...

(thinks)Wednesday... -1... Tuesday... -2...

Day -5.  To at least get some finalized plans set...

Hey folks!  Are you going to the Black and White Ball?  Are you curious to see some of the dance styles at the ball?  Come by Stage Zero, and check out some of the dance demonstrations!  The Black and White Ball staff will be at Stage Zero on various times on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, to showcase some of the dance styles you'll have the chance to learn yourselves!  After you've learned them, you can show everyone at the Black and White Ball your smooth moves!

Sounds exciting!  I wonder where it'll first start...

Like NWA said back in the day: "Give me something to dance to."  :)

Stage Zero is currently looking into hosting for a late-night extended panel/show showcasing Asian music videos, anime music videos, and other videos either after midnight, or before our early morning programming.  If you are interested in hosting for this panel, please drop us an e-mail at [email protected] and let's see if we can work something out!

If you show Wapakman, barring my SZ commitments, I'll be front and center.

You can't beat the Filipino English dubs of Voltes 5.

That or we need more Darna.  A LOT OF DARNA.  I might pay money to see someone cosplay as Darna.

Hello everybody!  We're back!

In 2006, Stage Zero started as a small stage intended to give FanimeCon a little sample of everything FanimeCon had to offer.  We return for our SIXTH year, and hopefully will continue to give a little more of what is happening throughout the convention, as well as inform and entertain the FanimeCon attendees.

This year, we are currently looking to promote the many events, happenings, and all around awesomeness that FanimeCon will be bringing this year.  Our fellow FanimeCon staff are currently working to provide programming for our Stage, and we will inform you all of our schedule in the near future!

We thank all of our FanimeCon attendees for their continued support of our Stage!  We will hopefully continue to entertain you all!

Keep your eyes on this thread for future updates!

We need attendees?

I like Tony's idea.  ;D

People just don't have love for the Pajama Jammy Jam.

Maybe put it in the smaller dance room, make it a little more laid back and chill, something to get people to mingle more?

a night performance of the maids would be kind of cool

As much as I love our Fanimaids, I wouldn't want to tire them out.

this is begining to sound like a stage zero type event.

I think that is where I'm getting confused: If the "live" thing with the virtual Miku onstage..that would be fun but very hard to set up and would likely need the auditorium or something -at least-, not even counting the budget. Stage Zero wouldn't even be able to handle it.

If we're talking folks dressed up as Vocaloid characters and performing, I suppose that's another story :)

At this present time, Stage Zero is looking to have programming promoting the many Fanime sponsored events, happenings, and awesome stuff that FanimeCon presents to its attendees.  Any other performances and events requested to be done on Stage Zero would have to be referred to the Panels department.

Make sure to come by Stage Zero on Friday, May 28th, at 2:00 p.m. as Opening Ceremonies will be held there!  You'll get to see most of the Guests of Honor, as well as an entertaining performance to kick off Fanime Con 2010!

Soooo.... The National Hockey League is starting its Western Conference Finals on Sunday, May 16th, and the San Jose Sharks will be dropping the puck at the Shark Tank (HP Pavilion) against the Chicago Blackhawks at 12 noon.

Herein lies the question:

Will parking around the San Jose Convention Center be affected to a point where we might not be able to find any?
