The Cosplay Masquerade stage
The Cosplay Masquerade 2014 will be held in the San Jose Civic Auditorium also called The City National Civic located at 135 West San Carlos Street San Jose California 95113. Next to the San Jose Tech Museum. This is a real stage facility with lights and sound system.

Stage Dimensions : 49' 9" x 30'
Video projectors: Two, located 10 feet left and right of the stage.
Light configuration and capabilities will be in the registration forms tech form.
Green room will have:
- Costume repair table
water and straws
Makeup table
Private bathroom
Chairs
Changing rooms
Large Prop storage will be at the left and right of the stage.
Contestants will have the choice of seating in the front left hand seats or in the Green Room which will have a video feed.
Pre-Masquerade practice room
Pre-Masquerade practice room will be located from Friday noon May 23rd through Sunday 9:00pm May 25th at the San Jose Marriott in the Willow Glen I,II Ballroom located at

Room dimensions 52' X 21' X 11'
Hours of operation:
- May 23rd Noon - Midnight
May 24th Noon - Midnight
May 25th 8:00am - 2:00pm (move to the Civic)
May 26th 8:00am to 2:00pm

Practice Stage
Costume repair table
Makeup table
Chairs
Large Prop storage
Changing rooms
Sound tech table

What about foodstuffs? Will we be able to bring snacks or other munchies backstage with us?

Yes you may, the only thing I ask is that you make sure they can be kept under control and that nothing spills.
We will be providing some snacks in an unofficial capacity, there is a concession contract with the hotel and with the civic that limits what can be provided or from whom, so I am limited in what I can say. However if things magically appear, well theses things happen...
