im totally down for a random gathering in your area. _insert random city here_

some ppl have the means or ability to travel out of the bay area (i.e san jose area) and some of us cant.

as for the idea of oakland, i think (semi-joking/semi serious) that some ppl have the stereo-type that oakland isnt one of the safer big cities around.

considering that were bunch of a random group of anime fans, we might attract unwanted attention to ourselves and again my concern would be safety.

if your really still serious to still hold a gathering, then we'll see if anyone else is interested and we'll go from there.

I've been terribly busy with life. For the most part, trying not to go insane.

My most recent regret is buying a brand new '08 Civic. Omit the details of the process of getting the car, as well as some minor other details, and you'll end up with something like this..

Old '88 Corolla's transmission gives out... Mother asks me what to do. She suggests getting a car. I suggest a new one. Decide on a Civic. Tell her in plain Chinese that it'll be my car, and that she can use it for family purposes when I'm not trying to get anywhere.

Her sister loans her $3,000 for a down payment that I didn't ask for. She signs as primary buyer and I cosign, since I can't sign as a primary buyer, due to "first time buyer" credit history.

Since the day she drove my car off the lot, she's been treating it like its hers.

I don't get to take it anywhere. I just get stuck with the monthly payments. My fate was sealed the moment I signed.

First my cousin screws me over for labor, and now, my own mother pulls this bs. Talk about great ways to lose faith in "family" and "humanity."

I was wondering if anyone would happen to be especially talented in the design/making of platemail. I'm looking for something of a claw, an arm piece, and the shoulders. Thanks in advance.

That would be me. I was the only Xaldin, Ansem and Ansem!Riku. Only that day I had to scramble and couldn't get Xaldin on fast enough for the shoot. Darn sideburns.
