I haven't written a report of any sort yet of course, nor do I have any photos up, but such media will be located @ my website here (http://hype.eiun.net/) (please excuse the under construction sign, I'm working on a new layout). So many outfits that were awesome and totally fantastic. Not enough space on my camera. ><
Masquerade Comments and Thoughts:
- As much as I generally like the tech people who make our lighting and music possible, I really, really, really wish that they hadn't screwed up on our skit. (#3 Ouran in Wonderland by OH!smeCK) Our music started early, which was kind of awkward, there was supposed to be a blackout that never came, which really screwed up with our timing, forced us to improvise, probably really confused the audience, and generally was really annoying. v____v
I ended up mentally cringing every time the stage blacked out afterwards, thinking 'why couldn't they do that for us? DDX'
- Oh god, the Haruhi dance. So many groups did it, and I feel kind of bad for the people who did it later because some of them did it really well, and they were just unlucky to end up doing it after a whole bunch of others. Thus, little to no applause.
Props to the Haruhi dancers. ;D
- CANDY MOUNTAIN!!!111!!11kjaflskjdflsdfkj!!!11potatoes!!
It's hard for me to say much more without it being reduced to crazy fangirlish squeeing. But, er, yeah. SO MUCH LOVE. This was definitely my favorite skit. I thought my day had been made complete with the Jesus and Christian people drama by the fountains. BUT IT WASN'T.
My Win-Meter shorted out some time during the skit from too much awesomeness.
"Too sexy for this con... too sexy for this con..."
- SLAYERS. Wonderful, beautiful Slayers cosplays and a hilarious skit. Props to them for winning too. ;DD
- There was so much dancing this year. And most of it was well done too, like prepared beforehand and choreographed, instead of 'oh, random dance off that we'll just do on the fly'. So that's a change for the better.
- This stage was well enough, but I kind of liked last year's better. Dunno, I just felt like the audience was a lot more enthusiastic last year, and that it has something to do with the stage. Also because it went totally pitch black in the other stage, and that worked well with the skits.
- Shiny Alucard cosplayer of win.

A lot of very nice cosplayers. It's such a fun event.

I was the predator, if anyone had taken any pics of the female predator on Saturday, I'd like to have some. I wanted to wear it all day, but heh...I got tired and wanted to lay down. X]
I wanted to express how impressed I was with the quality of this years cosplay. I didn't make it to the Masquerade but the costumes I saw people walking about in were fantastic. Back in the day when I went to Fanime in 2001, cosplay was not nearly as popular and it seemed like most people threw their costume together a few days before the con.
:o But this year was just amazing. Everyone really put in their best efforts to make great cosplay. I was truly inspired by what I saw and it makes me want to work even harder on my costumes. Thank you everyone for your efforts and for letting us all take photos of you. And to the photographers, thank you for taking photos and sharing them with us all.

*EUROBEAT~!
*Must say, the costumes were well-done this year; not a lot of "budget" stuff.
*Parapara was tastefully done and well used.
Minuses:
*Toooooooooo many cliches: Rickroll, HHY, even Caramelldansen was overused! I did feel a tad sorry for those that had to perform the cliches later in the evening; however, that could have been avoided by not using those cliches to begin with.
*Some of the performances lacked acceptable (read: audible) audio; I could seldom tell, in some cases, just what was going on!!!
I hate to sound cruel, but... not even Eurobeat saved this Masq from suffering a bit.

I coplayed as L from Death Note (with a brown teddy bear) and Son Goku from Saiyuki. Does anyone have pictures of that. I was L on Friday I was sleeping holding a Teddy Bear.

Did anyone happen to take a picture of a Pyramid Head on Friday? Or a Zexion with black and white cat ears on Saturday? Or a girl in black and white lolita with same ears? I'm trying to find pictures of myself, and I know I had a lot taken of me, but I can't seem to find them. I think I took a few photos, so once I get the camera from my dad, I'll upload them.
