THESE PHOTOS ARE IN... ACCEPTABLE CONDITION! ACCEPTABLE!

(I was the Lemongrab in the simple mask)

Your voice was spot on. XD Lemongrab episodes are some of my favorite (though Lemonhope episodes were bleak).

I have all the AT gathering photos uploaded to my FB (along with other pics from the con). I'll upload them so they're more accessible down the road, but for now you can grab pictures from the gathering here if you have a fb.

This was so much fun!!!! I had a blast! If I could make one little suggestion it would be to make the letter we have to de-code a bit shorter. With all the role playing that we are going and goals to accomplish it takes too long trying to de-code a message. What did that thing say anyway all I got is that it was singed by Ganondorf? (though I suppose we could have tried splitting it up sentence by sentence between a few of us if we had been smart but hindsight is always 20/20.... also should have looked into getting the possession I was under lifted, lol)

What character were you?

I was Shoken head of the royal guard. Yeah, clearly I did a fabulous job! The king died, my subordinate died, and the oldest heir died. What was your character?

Sorry (not sorry) for possessing you. ;)

Here's my album from Thursday to Monday. I have the Shin Megami Tensei and Adventure Time Gatherings snapped, along with random cosplayers. Feel free to tag yourselves in pictures. :)

Hey!

So this is a loooooong shot, but I'm looking for the info of an artist I saw in AA. They had a piece of Adventure Time art which I forgot to buy (so much regret). The picture was a more realistic version of Finn and Flame Princess and was from a particular scene where Finn is kissing her while in a cave. It has the quote from the episode, "I need you to be okay."

If anyone knows who it is, or the lovely artists is in our midst, please PM or post their tumblr, deviant art, flickr, or whatever you know. :)

Hey Guys!

If anyone has any pics I would love to see them~

Just wanted to say this was the best panel I've ever been to. <3 This was my first murder mystery ever, so having it Zelda themed really got me in the spirit of the event. I look forward to future murder mysteries!

Hey everyone, I'm searching for pics like everyone else. Once I can go through all of mine I'll respond to others requests (if I have any of you).

Friday, Saturday, Sunday (evening):
Vincent Brooks from Catherine. I wandered around in both his normal clothes (still with horns), and his Nightmare outfit. I was the Vincent with real horns. I also had tattoos. Speaking of this, if anyone has pics from Yaoi Bingo please send them my way (I'm Gatsby).

Sunday (Morning/noon):
Marshall Lee from Adventure Time. I spent a lot of pre Adventure Time Gathering, and post gathering lounging in a tree. I'd love to see pictures from the gathering, and pictures of me in the tree. And if any of the Fionnas who wanted selfies with me are around, I'd love to see the pictures too! :)

I'm in complete agreement! The Day 0 line was amazing, to the point where I literally was not sure what to do with my time (I had my badge around my neck by 11:50AM). But that's no way a complaint! I prefer early over late any day. :) AA felt better than ever, while Dealers' is still about the same (besides a few shops I've lost interest in Dealers' years ago).

There are a few peeps I wish I had gotten contact info from! I'm the Vincent Brooks cosplayer (both Daytime and Nightmare) with the real ram horns, and I also worked Yaoi Bingo as a bishie. Also, I was the Marshall Lee lounging in a tree pre and post Adventure Time Gathering.

1. The Fionna who wanted a selfie with me (Marshall Lee) after the Adventure Time Gathering. You seemed funny and adorable, but we didn't have a chance to chat.
2. Battle damaged Finn and Jake, I think I accidentally erased your contact info before I saved it. X_X You were fun to chat with and I'd love to coordinate future AT cosplays. :)

Been going to Day 0 since my first fanime years ago. Whether it's worth it is up to you, but it definitely has a life of its own. While the line sucks most years (I usually get in around 7am, so I can't really complain lol), having a 3DS, board games, and friends really speeds things up. Last year I joined a game of Cards Against Humanity with some strangers, and then played Korean jacks and Bang! with some friends. The swap meet is great too. As others said, getting your room is much easier and a sigh of relief. All in all, I always go because it's just one more day of vacation for me.

While the guest list is smaller than cons past, to say it's worse than a previous year is rather rude, don't you think? You don't have to like the lineup by any means since everyone has different opinions, but the guests who are coming out should at least still be welcomed and not, as a collective, be considered worse than a previous year because the total number is smaller or not who you want.

EDIT: With that said, I too am curious if more guests will be announced since the numbers are lower. Still, the current lineup is solid for my tastes.

Remember men, it's okay to cry as long as no one can see you and you never confess to the act.

The older you get, the more you start realizing those "close friends" in high school aren't going anywhere with their life, and you begin pulling away until you're left with just a few close friends but still spend much of your time doing everything on your own since the remaining friends have their own lives to work on.

I hope not, while they are good for a laugh, the amount of effort the Rovers need to put in to ensuring the con  goers don't break rules/laws is ridiculous. Furthermore, it gets to be a traffic congestion if police show up to ensure things don't escalate. I mean, the cops and rovers are pretty lenient, but it's such a waste of time and energy for everyone.

Don't get me wrong, I've had plenty of fun messing with these jerks such as the year my Tetris block group caused a huge character battle starting with me ramming the Rubik's cube girl or the year I was offering to make out with guy right next to the protesters, so I know I've wasted plenty of time on them. But in a way they are part of the con as much as the other gatherings. And hell, they can bring spontaneous fun. The aforementioned character battle went on for an hour or so and everyone stopped paying attention to the protesters and focused on us or even joined in.

Gaming / Re: Steam Machines

Even though my baby is almost 5 years old, she still handles any game on the market at max settings (I have upgraded the gfx card over the years). There's no major incentive for me to get a gaming rig, however I feel it's a nice competitive edge to consoles and for those who don't have the know how to build their own gaming pc. The different models are nice too since it gives an option for the type of games you play.
