I read through the aa post on the Fanime website.
I have a quick question regarding excepting artists at the convention.
Does this mean, if by a slight chance, an artist is not able to make the show (last minute let's say) The space will be left empty?

I would like to offer a hand in helping you respond on facebook, forms and so on.
Not a full staff position but, just help with passing along information. You never have to give me "sensitive" information, just enough to help keep everyone clam and ready for the convention.
I seem to have the time to look at the pages everyday so I thought I would try and be more useful.
The only thing I would ask is that I am not a member of staff at the convention, since I would like to to be an artist at AA.
You guys seem really overwhelmed this year, I would like to help the best I can.

I never ment to sound like I wanted Fanime to "disband" I love this convention and I hope to see it continue into the future. Just confused by what you ment...anyways, thank you for your response.

So what DID exactly happen, that the website took so long to be updated? Yes, we are all busy with our own lives and random crap does fall on us, but I am still curious.

I always complain about no information being given about Fanime, but never really asked questions...I (and maybe others) only want to know so we can better prepare ourselves and maybe even help the Fanime staff as well. When everything is so secretive (not saying anyone means for it to be) it makes people feel alienated and with little communication can make traveling, selling, sleeping arrangements and waiting in lines that much more difficult. Granted we have just begun, so heres hoping for a new commutative Fanime! And I will try to talk more as well :)
With that out of the way...
Could I ask, what exactly did cause the delays with the website?
Is it possible to have more detailed updates?

I am having trouble getting my badge number recognized for AA registration. What is funny is that the person in my group (my helper) got recognized but I, who's email the account is under, did not. I would love some help with this, thank you.

I was wondering, does Fanime AA have a panel to talk about registration etc. BEFORE the con? If not, I think it would be awesome. It just seems like both myself and other people have questions that never seem to be addressed through the forms, FB, Twitter etc. Maybe it would be better face to face? It might just make a good meet and greet if anything :)

Just to tell gmail users that fanime mail comes under spam unless you change it...I don't know how though however I found that e-mail in my spam folder XD

Right, sometimes emails sent in mass will be put into a spam folder. So it is always a good idea to check when going through your email. Not everyone thinks of that. (like myself >_<)

What are the polices on using anime series logos. Don't? Or could I use them on things I do not intend to sell but just display? It seems like I have seen people using logos, maybe they were modified?

Since Fanime is the closest convention to Gaia Online's main office, I was thinking maybe having a panel? If we could get in contact with someone at Gaia it would be nice to have them for discussion about up coming things, questions etc. Is there already a panel? And if not a panel maybe just a Gaia gathering?
