Hello CLAMP fans! I know there were some cosplayers who wanted to know if a CLAMP gathering was being organized, so I got in touch with hellangel, who had organized the past few years. Don't worry, she's been really busy but would still want to keep this running! So I made a new thread for now so I can edit interested peeps.

ANYWHO logistics. These are not fixed, although in the past, Saturdays at 1 seemed to work the best.

Fanime will be taking group pictures during the Gathering/Event this year. If you do not want to be included in those pictures please step aside for those photos. By remaining with the group when the pictures are being taken you give your consent to be photographed.

I will be going as Season 4 Korra in her Earth Kingdom (?) runaway outfit. My friend will be Season 4 Jinora.

Both of these are something I'd be really interested in! I am still new to sewing and making my own cosplay items from scratch.

If there's any other cosplay panel topic, I want to have one that shows and teaches how to draft and assemble your own patterns. Many times I look at my own clothing as guidance, but then have difficulty trying to break down the parts as if I'm making my own patterns. This would be awesome to see and learn since there's a bunch of characters I'd love to cosplay someday that needs custom patterns!

Hey, so my Tsubasa group is at the ballroom lower level in the south tower...if anybody's still wondering.

Yes, let's keep the tradition! Looks like everyone who posted here was hoping the gathering would be running. :)

As for me, my group and I are coming back as the Tsubasa quad. This time with the Infinity arc outfits, with me as Kurogane and three others as Fai, Sakura and Syaoran. Date, time, and location works for us.

Also, it would be good to have one or two people to wait at the main lobby hall of Fairmont to direct newcomers to the location, since it can be confusing.

It was either someone who worked with reg here or the person in charge of the Facebook page who said that they will post up registration hours when it's close to Fanime for both locations, including for Day Zero. So hopefully we could pick our badges at the Clockwork Alchemy on Thursday!

From my personal experience, emailing people in charge at [email protected] had been helpful. I say email them and explain your condition, and hopefully they can arrange accommodations via waitlisting, etc. Best of luck!

That's strange. A few minutes earlier I was still able to book a room at the Marriotts for Friday to Sunday night via the hotel list page.

It was possible those options were the only one left for you - and by now all the hotels nearby are booked. Hope you managed to find something!

I know I'm not the only one having issues with the group registration. I created a group account (and think I'm supposed to get an email confirmation, but haven't...) and once I log in, I can't start adding members to register. Should I just contact reg department or are they fixing it at the moment?

I'm going to try my best and go as Tetra (TWW/PH).

It was a fun gathering this year! I'm grateful for Inoli, Shokora, and Tenkage who waited in the Fairmont lobby to guide my group to the other building...otherwise we would have been lost and miss out. The location was nice - good lighting, cooler room, and the stairs was good for ending group photo.

I'm a bit confused - so if they show it in two rooms, does everyone get to see all the same videos?

That's right! I think I will be able to get access, since I believe some people who entered are out of state and won't be able to attend Fanime. Does anyone know if we are allowed to bring in a friend with us? Literally one friend?

Hmm, don't know if I can post my question here, but here goes.

Hotels usually provide ice boxes, right? So is it safe to store things like cream cheese (which is the only perishable item I am thinking of bringing for breakfast) in the container without changing ice for more than four hours? If not I would just pack peanut butter, etc.
