Yes I was hoping someone would hold a CritRole gathering! I'm really hoping to finish Kashaw in time!

Heya folks! Was just wondering if anyone was planning on a Critical Role gathering this Fanime. I'm working on a Kash cosplay and would love to meet up with other Critters! I wouldn't be able to host though due to other obligations but if there's a gathering I'd do my best to attend it! :)

Ideas and Suggestions / Re: Guests for Fanimecon 2017

I'd love to have the cast of Critical Role at Fanime!

If I finish everything I'll definitely show up as Warden Aeducan! But if not then I'll probably bring my Enasalin Armor Hawke  ;D

Even if you pick up at Clockwork Alchemy you can still get the Fanime badge art. Fanime and Clockwork Alchemy have their own separate lines at the Double Tree. I picked up at the Double Tree last year and was a one person line for like 30 seconds :)

Also if you pick up on Thursday the shuttles that go between Fanime and Clockwork Alchemy may not be running yet.

I think inviting cosplay guests who usually aren't able to make it to Fanime would be really cool, like Fighting Dreamer Productions from Canada, Tux Team (especially Jin/behindinfinity) from the Philippines, Mango Sirene, Liui Aquino, or Kiba the Cosplay Corgi.

Here's the shuttle bus schedule http://www.fanime.com/accommodations/#shuttle-bus :) It's also completely free!

Did they actuall scan that upside down??

If you look at the map it's actually the DoubleTree. They likely did what they did last year where one side was Fanime and you'd have to flip the program upside-down to get the program for Clockwork Alchemy.

What is the name of the Android app called?

I'm super stoked for Fanime this year! First time cosplaying even though it'll be my 4th convention and I'm really excited! Can't wait for the convention.

Will there be any peace bonding stations at Clockwork Alchemy? I was planning on picking up my badge there and figured it'd be easier to get my prop peace bonded there instead of going to Fanime.

There is typically a Fanime Peacebonding station run by Clockwork Alchemy, at the Double Tree, but I haven't had the pleasure of attending so I could not speak to where it is, sorry.
Alright! I think I'll see if I can change my pick up location to Fanime and the SJCC then so I can get my prop peace bonded after picking up my badge. Thanks for the reply! :)

Sending an email to [email protected] and explaining your situation should help ease some worries :)

I think it would be amazing if Fanime could play music from ACNL or any of the Pokemon games. Basically anything from 3DS games would be super cool and since a lot of people bring their 2DS's and 3DS's to the con for street passes I think it would make the experience even better!

I think bringing your own food and drink is allowed? Since the convention center is connected to one of the hotels. At least, I didn't encounter any problems carrying a few water bottles out in the open when I was walking around with friends.

There is a strong possibility that I can go as Prince Wu

If I don't have any conflicts then I can definitely stop by as Hawke in the Enasalin armor set!

The biggest tip I can give is make sure to stay hydrated throughout the day, since it can get pretty warm to hot outside, especially if you attend any gatherings out in the sun.

Definitely would suggest going to some of the panels or events at the con, too. Even waiting in line can be fun, since you can just talk to the people around you and get to know them. And if Steampunk interests you at all, hop on the shuttle Fanime provides to Clockwork Alchemy (which is like the partner convention of Fanime) to check it out, since the badge to Fanime is also a badge to Clockwork Alchemy. Plus, you can talk to the people you're sitting next to on the shuttle, great way to pass the time.

Would using a Wii Gun Controller be allowed for gun props? I'm thinking about using one for a cosplay and wanted to make sure before I buy it.
