If you do go, try to bring something please! ~<3
Well, for my little "entourage" (lol, not really), we go get food at weird times, too!  But we'll try our best to go, and we will bring munchables ^,^

Quote from: "Jyunishinsho"I'm planning to make a solar cloak, but not for a Gaia cosplay, more like for selling and stuff.
Have you asked Gaia for permission to make/sell it?

I will be cosplaying as my Gaia avatar on one of the days.  DYED purple hair and all XD
I am Luck-in-Spades on Gaia... so just look for that ^,^;  G-LOL blue gown, eyepatch, horns, NM headband, NM collar, ace of spades, and MAYBE the penguin slippers (if I can get the pattern to work properly >.<)

I'll be hanging around my Artists's Row booth mostly.

Well, I hadn't planned on running some games (as I don't have extra copies nor the extra time, sadly).  I was just going to discuss the premise of the game, show some powerful and useful cards, as well as just some funny ones as well.  I'll probably be sticking mostly to Munchkin Bites (and Pants Macabre) as that's my favourite set.

Since you are also another Munchkin player, any suggestions of things to add would be great.  I am mostly doing the panel for lack of anything better, and Jason Ebner wants me to host panels for some reason *laughs*

So far, I can only take cash at the convention, actually, so that works great.  I can only take Money Order/Card online.  ^,^  What I can't take are checks (too much bouncing issues).

Thanks for the question, I am sure others are wondering, too.

Quote from: "dragonraver"Horrah!!  You're going to be back this year!!  My sister and I bought 8+ hats from you last year.  We love them!  They kept us warm on those cold days here.  We both plan on coming back and purchasing more! ^___^

For those of you who live in areas that are really cold, I would suggest the Extra Long Floppy Bunny ears hat from the Queen of Caps.  That hat save both my sister's and my heads (and ears, might I add) from freezing off while we were going to our college class at night.  *hugs Queen of Caps*  Thank you, your hats saved our heads and ears!!  :D
I need to make you a hat with some earflaps and the tiestring on them, so I can know how those stand up under the cold.  I have been doing the earflaps for awhile, but the string is newer.  I haven't made one with string for myself, so I really don't know ^,^

Haha, you would make a great spokesperson XD

ILuv:  Yey ^,^  Hopefully there will be something you like.  I hope to bring most every design I have to the event, so maybe you'll have something good to chose from ^,^

Rock on ^,^  Try and order at least 2 weeks before the con just so I can be sure to have them done and set aside proper *nods* ^,^

Any child-themed event ideas you have in mind perhaps?

My query:  The costumes in my group are not from a TRUE Japanese Animation series.  The series is American-made (I am pretty sure), but it is drawn in an anime-type style, and it takes its influences from asian culture.  (Our entry is conartist cosplay if you wanted to see what it was, Ms. Coordinator; I am trying to keep it secret here)  What I want to know is if we are still qualified to win something.  I ask this, because at Japan Town Anime Faire '05 (I think), we entered the contest and were disqualified without being informed because one of the characters we were portraying was not from Anime/Videogames/Japanese media.  So I just wanted to make sure that since our costumes were not true Japanese media characters, if we still have a chance.

Thanks!

You can do both without smushing them so close together *sweatdrop*

I would like hopefully for you to drag in some people from outside the gathering, also, to join in the contest.  The more people we get in the contest, the more likely people will want a hat even if they don't win *is so business-dastardly!*

I hope I make enough of a variety of hats this year ^,^;  I am gonna make a camo/black ball moogle hat this year XD
#15
Moogleborg!  You want to gather folks cause of the hat you bought <3

Hmm... I wonder how I can offer a promotion.Moogleborg:  Would you want to hold the gathering somewhere near my booth, maybe?  And maybe we can hold some kind of contest for someone who doesn't have any moogle-wear, and they can win a moogle hat from me?  Because that would be killer!

Does that make sense/sound good? *sweatdrop*

At the VERY least, I am likely to be there as my Gaiaonline character, and Vash for a day.

I HOPE to have an Aang costume done by then, though.  I am so excited about that one.

Squee!  Glad to have made your friend happy ^,^  And if there's a specific one you know you want, you can always email me from the site asking for one to be put on hold for ya. *nods* That way it will assure you get one you want.

*Pokes teh leloi back* You too, honey XD Can't wait to see ya again.  How's the pup? ^,^

I will hopefully have MANY MANY panda hats this year, in anticipation of a high demand! XD  Whew, I have a LOT to do.

By the way... I may be hosting a pannel on my hats... anyone think they might be interested in attending? *coughs*

Panels and Workshops / Pannels (Hats, "Munchkin")
March 30, 2006, 09:11:14 AM
Well, as per your suggestion, Jason, I will host 2 pannels so far.  I would prefer Friday and Monday, as those are less busy days for the booth.

What is the minimum time length required? *coughs*

So yeah.  First pannel: Hats.  My hats, specifically.  I guess I could discuss the importance of pattern development, what pertains well to the anime community.  Get some open questions going... because I'd hate to talk too much and give away all of mine secrets! *looks shady*  Show some of the models...  Give a sneak-peek of up and coming new hats.  Maybe premiere my first contest?  Yeah.  Suggestions would be nice.

Second pannel:  "MUNCHKIN."  A series of RPG-style card games by Steve Jackson games.  I'll explain what the game is about, tell how to play, show off some of my favourite cards (whether because they are funny or because I just like them; all done via projection screen would be nice if the tech is available).  I can talk about all of the expansion packs, different versions, perks and downfalls of combining decks, and where to get the games.  More suggestions would be nice.

So... sound good, Jason? =P

Squee!  Good news.  ^,^  Well, just be sure and let me know some time before the event if you actually are sure.  And don't forget to pick the colours if you want anything different from default.
