Hi everyone!

I'm looking for resin kits and/or garage kits. I prefer anime/video game characters as opposed to robots or cars. I'll be at Fanime the whole weekend as well as the swap meet on Thursday night. Please let me know if you have any!

Thank you!!

Hey Guys,

I was considering entering the masquerade in 2014 with a skit that utilizes a video in the background. But I can't seem to find anything on youtube with a group actually using a video. Has anyone done it? How does it work out? Is there a video I can watch so I can get a better idea?

Thanks for the help!!

To the persona 4 cosplayer who said she had a Popola costume planned for next year. I was the Devola monday and should have grabbed your email I'm so sorry. I definitely want to be a twin with you next year and would love to help you out with your sleeve fabric.

Also to the guy who ran past me and said I was awesome and that he was selling NieR cups. Thank you again, that made my day, and I want a NieR cup! Where can I buy one?

Oniko's video is fantastic on covering everything. Just a few personal opinions:

1. In doing a few artist alley's and fanime last year, wearables sell like crazy, they're impulse buys and quick transactions. They'll be what you want the most prints of and copies of.
2. Bring a ton of change. If you're selling smaller $1 or $2 items, definitely have $1 bills and $5 bills. I've been guilty of this.
3. Like Oni mentioned, if you're doing commissions, be prepared to either limit them per day so you'll have time to do anything else during the con, or you'll be staying up late nights to finish them. Don't short change yourself on commissions. Know how much work you put into each one and don't be afraid to charge what you believe they're worth.
4. Business cards are a definite.
5. As far as prints wise, like everyone else has said it's a little bit of a gamble. Some people like myself like to buy larger prints so they're easier to frame and look more imposing on my wall, but other people with less money will go for the post card sizes just to have a small piece of artwork. I think 7 to 10 of each is a safe number.
6. Have fun!!!

I hope this helps a little.

I just have one costume I'm looking to get pictures of; Devola from NieR. I have a couple props to pose with and an optional apron.

I'm open all weekend as far as dates and times go. Just reply here or drop me a note with this info:

What days you are interested in scheduling a photoshoot
What time of day would be best for you
If you have any preferred locations (Such as indoor/outdoor fountains, at the convention, somewhere else, etc.)
Your prices (if any)

Thank you!!

I'm not sure if this is the right place to put it, but I thought it might be a good area to start.

Last year I saw many different cosplayers meeting up with Photographers to do private shoots. I have a costume I've worked on for a long time and would love to find someone to take really nice pictures of it. Are there photographers on these forums who set up appointments? Is it something you just hope you get lucky with at the convention? Or should I check elsewhere for this and if so, where?

Any help or advice would be really appreciated.

I'm doing a Devola cosplay and would love to meet up with any other NieR cosplayers. I saw only two last year and wore my costume on the wrong day D: I'm not sure what day yet; it'll depend on if I can find other people.
