My friends and I will be around as Harry, Draco, Ron, either Hermione or Pansy, and possibly Snape.

They are awful descriptions, but there is a map to show where the locations are exactly at the cosplay gathering check-in table right inside the entrance to the convention.

Depending on how on time my friends and I are with our schedule, we may be swinging by the gathering as Hooded Figures.

Shoot, we might not make it to this after all. My boyfriend's costumes revolve around his facial hair and he has other costumes for the weekend that require a moustache or stubble so he can't shave this early.

Why not have him be older!Dipper? Or Old Man McGucket? OMG, please do Old Man McGucket!

Slight change of plans. I'll be at the gathering as Painted Lady Katara, and my friend as Blue Spirit Zuko. And then two other friends as Varrick and Zhu Li.

If the leggings are opaque, and the skirt was a few inches above the knee (all part of a White Rabbit cosplay), would that be okay?

I don't suppose there will be any Kingsman cosplayers hitting Fanime this year? Enough even for a small gathering?

Sorry for the slow reply, busy with work, haha... I have no problem with you using plastic chains. You can paint them to look real, but they should be plastic. I am even ok with you having about 1 foot loose to complete the look (/me is a big korra fan)

Very strong possibility of my group being there as Korra, Asami, Mako, Varrick, and Zhu Li.

Finally managed to book a room for all con days at one of the airport hotels. I'm a bit disappointed because I had managed to get through and almost booked the Westin until the site timed out when trying to process my credit card info...and continued to time out on every attempt to check out thereafter until I lost the hold on the reservation and had to start from scratch.

A new system should definitely be put in place for hotel reservations. Maybe give first wave priority to those who purchased their badge at last year's con. Second wave to those who already purchased for early reg. And then third wave open to anyone. Just something to try and stem the complete four hour overload.

Harry is mostly done -- all I need is his school tie. As for Esmeralda...well, it's looking like she's going to be the one I panic my way through to finish in time for the con.
