Hello fellow Fanime goers, my name is Rhoswen and I'm your returning host for Fanime's official 2017 Disney gathering.
This past year was a great turn out despite the change of host from 2015.
I hope that 2017 will be spectacular and I may be bringing in some Disney magic towards the end of the gathering. ;)

IMPORTANT (AND EXCITING) UPDATE
I have been able to get my magical hands on a mini lithograph that I will be raffling off at the gathering!
I hope I can grab some more items as we get closer.
Rules are as follow:
1) You must be at the gathering site between the 10 mins prior to start time (do not get in way of gathering in process if there, I'll be waiting off to the side) and first 10 minutes of our gathering's time.
2) If I'm announcing anything or trying to get people into photo orders, please wait till I'm finished to ask for a ticket.
3) You must be a participating cosplayer at the gathering.
4) Gotta stay to the end when I'll be pulling a ticket(s)
5) One ticket per cosplayer, these are free giveaways!!!
I'll write your cosplay name/char down on a board so no doubling up chances. :P

I'm very excited about this gathering, but I think the "classic" movies should go up to 2000. It would be cool to have a photo of all of the movies that we grew up on instead of mixing those movies with the newer stuff.

Hello, Me and my boyfriend are both doing Steampunk Ursula
We are able to attend on the extended sunday meet but the friday meet we wont be able to make unless it started later
Update! I'll either be attending as Cinderella or as Gazelle from Zootopia depending on my schedule!
I intend to be there as Russell from Up. :D

I do recommend that you try to use the most "mainstreamed" disney for the main gathering, and one that falls under the Extended family. That's usually more outside and further from mainstreamed Disney, like cartoon network, tv adaptations, games, crossovers. Pick whichever you'd like to wear! Just keep in mind which groups you could fit into the best for the most fun!

Omg. I'm happy to hear you're going to take your time on Moana. Rushed cosplay never come out as your best, at least from my experience.

Yes. Disney is mainstream "Disney," people usually go by "if you see them in the park then it's mainstream." If you're unsure, anything disney related is under the umbrella for Disney Extended Family Gathering.
