Ok, I've never set up/created a gathering so this is my first time. I heard there was one last year, but I couldn't relocate that thread sooo... if anyone has any ideas just post below (i'm not really quite sure what I'm typing >.>) and any cosplayers too (eh)

I myself will be cosplaying Agito/Akito. Regarding day, at least, I think mid/early Saturday or mid/early Sunday may be a good time- people will probably not be arriving/leaving on planes or whatever yet, plus it'll be out of the way of the uber big nighttime events like the masquerade etc.

Hi! I'm completely new to this so please correct this thread if i'm wrong cause I really wanna include Nabari no Ou (i've also never organized a gathering before but I couldn't find any NnO gatherings so...)

Fanime will be taking group pictures during the Gathering/Event this year. If you do not want to be included in those pictures please step aside for those photos. By remaining with the group when the pictures are being taken you give your consent to be photographed.

does anyone know any popular archery or ranged-weapons-user anime characters that would be suggestable to cosplay as?
the list i have so far is:
- a couple people from inu yasha
- some cards from yu gi oh
- tomite (FYGK)
- kanaria (Rozen maiden)
- fuu (magic knight rayearth)
- domeki (xxxHolic)
- yukito (card captor sakura)
- link (legend of zelda)

i just need to find one that would work for a 5'1" tall girl (aka me). any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

the only hotel left appears to be the fairmont and my group plans on booking 2 rooms from the 29-31st... however, after checking a couple of threads im kind of concerned. it appears as tho you pay AFTER your stay. however, the only 18+ year old in our group isnt the one who will be paying online even tho she's checking in for us. should i have her book our room online or would we need the person who's booking our room (one of our relatives) to come down to san jose and pay on the day we leave????

also... does anyone have any clearer info on the fairmont (aside from what the fanime website says). like how its rooms are like (the pictures are too tiny), room service hours, elevators i guess, breakfast, beds, bathroom, whats a rollaway bed?, keys reliability (ive heard of really annoyingly faulty and hard-to-use keys/cards), etc.

I've never used paypal before and I've heard not-so-good stories about so is there a way for me to register my group with a credit/visa/debit/etc. card?
