I'm surprised there's not anything about a Gundam gathering, either. I suspect what that means is that the person who usually organized it is probably not going to be at Fanime this year (aw...). I'd planned to cross-play Kamille Bidan this year, actually, since I finally lost some weight (heh). Tbh, I'm not quite sure how to organize a gathering since I've never done it before. :/ But I am interested.

There's usually a Gundam gathering every year, although the location varies.

I've gone as Four Murasame the last couple of years and I'll probably show up as Four again, although I do have that Kamille costume that I never got to wear last year...we'll see. ;)

I'm really glad I noticed this. I love vintage anime and would like to try to make it to the official Friday gathering. :D

I'll be cosplaying as Four Murasame, from the mecha/real-robot anime series Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam (1985).

My friend and I had a blast watching Combattler V. Daimos is also a good one, and I'd second Raideen.

I'd also like to put in a vote for a couple of retro Gundam series, such as 0079, Zeta, and ZZ.

Gundam Wing is a good AU suggestion, and I also enjoyed G Gundam. :)

I wanted to let you know that I intend to show up as Four Murasame this year (I finally got that costume from the mailroom, woo XD).

Like they either ran out or never had.

I wish they had a Gelgoog Marine models, now I have to wait longer to get one.

Also more Gundam Universal Century stuff.

I also wish there'd been more UC Gundam merch. Specifically, I wish I'd seen more Zeta-related merch, although I'm aware that particular series didn't get much of a North American release and thus isn't very popular. :(

I second having Tohru Furuya back...he was cool. :D I also second having Naoko Takeuchi.

In addition, if at all possible, maybe you guys could pull Shuichi Ikeda, Nobuo Tobita, or even Yoshiyuki Tomino (although he might be too much of a stretch o_O).

As for North American VA's, maybe you could get Brad Swaile, Michael Kopsa, and/or Matt Hill.

Lia Sargent provided voices for Mitsuko Komyoji, from "Android Kikaider: The Animation"; Millie Thompson, from "Trigun"; R. Dorothy, from "The Big O"; and Shion Uzuki, from "Xenosaga" (the actual game, not the animated series).

I've always wanted to meet Lia Sargent. ;D

Some other suggestions I'm tossing into the pot include Dave Wittenberg, Matt Hill, and Richard Epcar.
