Quote from: "Kaori"quick question. what forms of id are allowed for pick-up? like are school ids ok?
Generally any photo ID, but government-issued is best. (And if you're 18 or over, you should definitely have/get one.)

We want government issud photo IDs. School ID's are not acceptable. At least, that's what it has been like in the past couple of years.

Triple yay for Davis! (Only during the school year though)

Staff & Volunteers / So.... is it too late?

I think most departments would welcome the additional hardworking staffer. I know registration would. *hint hint*

March 28, 2007, 10:30:01 AM
Yes, you can transfer the name on your account to another one. Please e-mail us at [email protected]. We will require the old account information (for verification purposes) and the new account information (name, fan name, address, email address).  :D

Registration / Quick Question for the Confused
March 19, 2007, 12:16:08 PM
No!

At con passes will not cost you over a hundred dollars.

If you are looking to buy for one day, expect a price of $40-$50, ball park. I think Milton and them are gonna announce the at con prices soon.

Registration / Quick Question for the Confused

It is true that on-site registration takes a very long time so try and get there as early as you can. We are expecting that there will be even more people on Saturday than last year so be forewarned!!

Registration / table?
March 04, 2007, 09:44:49 PM
You need to talk to Artist Alley staff for that. There's a thread for it under the Live Programming Events forum.

I believe you do need a full weekend registration pass though. So just register like you would a normal attendee.

I thought there were more than 8,000 on-site??

Quote from: "White Rose Assassin"I'm wondering what are the requirements to play at the music fest. My brother has a band and they're always looking for gigs? Do you have to be Asian and possess musical talent? Or ethnicity does not matter as long as the music is related to J-pop / J-rock, anime, games, etc?

Sorry...I wasn't able to attend music fest this year! ^^;;; Just curious!

You definitely don't have to be Asian. But I would think you would want some musical talent because you wouldn't want to embarrass yourself on stage in front of all those people. As for the type of music, I'm not really sure.

I went to Musicfest and enjoyed it quite a lot. Goofy Style, Swinging Popsicle, Mothercoat and awesome for me. Up Hold, they were good but I'm not too into their kind if music. I saw them all again at Stage One on Sunday. I'm not really sure what was up with the crowd either but the people who were there were in to it.

Quote from: "Long"Oi, it was a good year this time. Different from the other years as it always is, but good never the less. I am in LOVE with Swinging Popsicle, and I got the Guitarist's pick! <3

I love the increased amounts of Harajuku people this year. I was a bit miffed to see that the Masquerade got more attendees than Music Fest. There are a few more disappointments but overall the trip was worth it.

A small suggestion however to those in charge of staffing schedules, please have 8 3-hour shifts instead of 4 6-hour shifts. >___> I almost died at the 10 PM to 4 AM shift.

Swinging Popsicle and Goofy Style were my favs.

I had a rougly 12 hour shift on Saturday. (Go reg!!) But working late at night/early morning must be pretty brutal too.

It is definitely too late to change registration accounts. In fact all the badges have been laminated.  :D

Sorry but you cannot pick up someone else's badge. The owner of the badge has to pick up their badge. Course, what happens to it afterwards is not under our control...

Registration / Group Reg help
May 23, 2006, 11:05:55 AM
Hm..a driver's permit might work. Bring the college ID along as well. Does she have a passport? A passport would definitely work.

I don't make the shots on what kind of ID to accept so I can't really answer your question. My guess is that a government ID is more formal and less easy to fabricate.

Registration / Group Reg help

Quote from: "Ami Yuy"
Quote from: "Sen"There are two ways to pick up group registrations.

1) The group leader picks up the all the badges with the printed out receipt and a valid government photo ID. (no need for the group to be present) However, you are responsible for distributing the badges to your group properly.

2) Each individual member in the group can pick up their badges however they will need a copy of the receipt that the group leader will have to provide them with.

Personally, I would go for option one because it saves time for everyone. Hope that helps

Thank you!  ^^  We're not all coming together so I was hoping that everyone could pick them up on their own.  I'll be sending them the PDF file tonight so that they can all print themselves out a copy.  ^^

Just for some clarification...Please make sure that each one of them has a government ID as well.

We are extremely busy this week so we are having a difficult time to read and answer emails. However, we are trying out best so please be patient with us. However, I will say that after Friday morning your chances of receiving a reply will be rather slim.
