Whenever I go to checkout with
paypal has be down for two badges. I only want one. So how do I get rid of this other badge?
Is there a way I can pre pay for A hotel real cheep like I did last year in 2010?
Hoping there will be another great turn out for FanimeCon this year but.... I'm more hoping it doesn't explode down the line from the increased number of people from year to year... >.>;

I preregistered the last day of Fanime 2010 for 3 people, but now I can't login using last year's registration information. 2 reg. site doesn't recognize it.Therefore, set up a new registration. I want to check to see if my 3 paid badges are correctly accounted for.ill theire

I have pre registered a group and then realized that all of the money would be coming out of my personal account all at once (I know, I should have realized this sooner. >.<) it's only 5 people but will my pre registered group become invalid if I do not pay by the 12th, like would I have to re-register? Or will my registration stay open since I actually 'registered' before the 12th and I can pay later? I should be able to get the money soon enough, but it's more of a curiosity question and it would be nice to know ahead of time in case I can't get the money together for some reason. Thanks!
I'm curious, is there anyone not getting the double badge problem? I'm trying to decide whether to ask my mom to pay for our registration tonight or to wait a few days.
@Sherbert: You don't have to re-register, but you can't lock in the $45 price without paying before the deadline. Your registration isn't complete until you pay, so you could register today and wait a few months before paying. Your data wouldn't be lost, but you'd still have to pay whatever price is being offered at the time of payment.

Those registrations have yet to be loaded into the database, once they are, an announcement will go out on the webpage and you can retrieve your accounts by using your e-mail on the "retrieve login" option. An email will not go out, because we do not like sending mass emails to hundreds of people....they usually call that SPAM....

The double account issue should have been resolved, please try again. If the problem persists, please email registrationATfanimeDOTcom .

Last year, we opened pre-reg around the same time. This year, we actually extended pre-reg at the low rate for a few more days due to a few hiccups on our end. We didn't want to punish our past/current/future members for something out of their control. :)

Question: I checked the Registration FAQ but im still confused, what is the length of time an attendee can go to Fanime if they buy a Pre-Registration?
Does it automatically pay for all of the days the convention is open?
Can you choose the amount of days you wish to pay-for/go-to?

Pre-Registration is for a membership that is valid the entire convention.
One-day memberships will only be sold the day of.

Does anyone know how much is the final price before fanime? And at doors for the whole weekend?
Hopefully it wont cost more the $60. $65 at the most. That's how it was last year.
Those prices won't be announced until closer to Fanime, but you can expect it to be fairly similar to last years' prices. o:~

"Day 0" is a term coined by (some guy/girl/group of people) to specifically mention a day before the actual event begins. In FanimeCon's case, our Opening Ceremonies is on Friday and although that's when we "start"(?) the convention's events, we have been slowly adding more and more Day 0 content (last year was Swap Meet, Arcade Gaming*, Registration pre-reg pickup, video*, and Dance(?)).
Day 0 for FanimeCon (specifically) is a day where you can pick up your badge and relax without missing *too* much before the major events go underway.
*There is normally no schedule for what is shown/available since it's up to the discretion of the staff as well as what we have available.
Any news for the people who pre-reged on Monday last year?

I have a question for anyone who would be so kind to answer.
I already bought my full weekend pass for myself and as well the two other people
going with me. I have however four other friends and family who want/interested in going but
they are going for a day.
Last year I believe it was $35 for a day (Fri.Sat.Sun) and $25 on Monday.
Is it the same prices this year, and can I add them to my group?

The prices for one day memberships have yet to be issued. They will come out around March or April. You can expect them to be
roughly the same, but they may go up...or even down from last year.
As the last thread for Professional Registration was locked, I figured I'd post in this one.
The original ETA was the end of February, but now it is the middle of March, and it still does not appear to be open. Any word on the current ETA?

Paper badge for early reg. there may be some difference in the lines, depending on the time, day, and amount of people.
If almost everyone in my group is pre-reg, but one person is early reg because they got me their money late, and we pick the badges up Friday afternoon, would they still be in the same line or would we have to stand in two different lines?
Most likely the same line, but con is volatile, so no promises...look for signs:)

I remember last year my friends had already registered and paid for themselves, but I was able to add myself to their group and pay for myself afterward.
This is how I did it this year:
I signed up first back in January and paid for myself. Then in February I registered a friend under my group and paid for them. Now in March I added 3 more people to my group and had to pay for those 3 all at the same time.
All unpaid accounts have to be paid up at the same time. You can have the group leader add one account at a time and have the individual pay for it then with their Paypal, but if the group leader has accounts made for everyone ahead of time, then they all have to be paid off at the same time, on the same Paypal account.
