I've got a confirmation that KoFXI will be at Fanime.  It will be the SJSU machine and likely in the small cab it's in right now @the school.  If anyone else plays it and would like to see it on a big cab, email [email protected] and make yourself heard.

Don't have details on any other games, but it's a safe bet that CvS2, 3rd Strike, MvC2, and GGXX Slash will be there.

Actually, no, I don't BMS them. (If I connect my KOC to my computer, it lags; also, I don't have space for anything nowadays, much less craploads of uncompressed keysounds. XD)

QFT. SJSU needs this machine.

As much as I love slash, I have never had the chance to play MBAC on an actual arcade machine. I will definitely be on this machine a good portion of the time that I am at Fanime, rest assured.

And just to re-iterate, version B would be ridiculously awesome, but, like Tsubasa, I'll take anything I can get.

Last year I played against some dude when I was drunk/tipsy/whatever from having Long Island Ice Tea and won.  We should play a few air hockey games when we're not sober. Might yield interesting matches and pics. :lol:

I got both Melty Blood games on my computer... and two USB PSTwo controller adapters... the game is so awesome but I don't know any moves T_T

From various sources I've heard it will be 2 quarters. However, that was during previous Fanime's.

More than likely it will be 50 cents per game play for most games and $1 for more active games, like DDR or Drummania. Its been this way for the past couple years.

yea, probably 50 cents for the fighters and the shmups, and a buck for games like initial D, DDR, Max. Tune 2, and the arcade shooters like ghost squad, and Time Crisis.

The list looks decent. Surprised to see Melty Blood there. Happy to see Drummania there (hopefully sessioned). Props for Puzzle fighter 2 also.

That might be worth considering, except that I don't turn 21 until November. Meh, it doesn't take alcohol to get me into an unusual state of mind at Fanime.

I recently made 6 stepcharts.  But the problem is that most of them passed 2 minutes which I can't put them in ITG2.

You don't know how to patch your OGGs?

Chun gave me a stepchart for the full version of Passion which showed up in MGL's r21 cab no prob after I patched it.

I know how to turn songs into OGG I thought they have a limit to not pass 2 minutes.  U gotta see what I've made I'm sure it's paddable fun!

DoDonPachi 2? Ew. I've heard bad things about it (not Cave-developed, combos don't reset if broken, score doesn't reset after continue, etc.)

I would prefer ESP Galuda (like from last year), Giga Wing, or Mushihime-sama.

I do agree about the ITG being harder but I have to clarify that PIU is still insanely harder than ITG and always been.

I've talked to Zerocide about having both Supernova and Extreme at fanime.  There are still ddr veterans that prefers extreme over supernova.  Old popular license that are fun to play such as Rhythm and Police, Dam Dariam, etc.. plus the timing is much easier than supernova.
It would of been nice to have ITG2 R21 cuz people would want to show off there anime songs edit on there.

So where u gonna be at during fanime? I would like to meet u.  Or anycase u should go hang out at Zerocide's room for Pop'n Music Session.

Yeah it's the people having taste in timing just like how IIDX was when it reached 9th style, I'm even tired of playing Extreme for the past 4 years so I feel ya.  I started playing DDR as much as u do.  I do also prefer Supernova over extreme for new step patterns but thats okay its nice to try out some old ones once in the while just like I played 4th plus during the previous fanime.  You're not wrong I'm just pointing out some few things out that are missing.

Actually I enjoy playing IIDX, Pop'n, GF, and DM.  Currently getting better at IIDX and Pop'n.  I'm also trying get better at Drummania but not that great.  I've only passed Dragon Blade on Extreme.  The more better at that game the more I enjoy!

Oh? U play 3rd strike? Maybe I should have few rounds wit u. I'm getting back into it.

I've never been to Fanime before. Where will the arcades be located?

Oh, and this is kinda off-topic, but what time are we allowed to go? Registration opens at 8, but what about access to the rest of the convention?

OMG THEY HAVE ACCENT CORE!? Damn. There goes all my spare change. Guess the dealer's room isn't gonna see much of me. And dammit all that SJSU is going to have the AC machine. SFSU already ditched Slash for XX and that made me sad panda :(

About Accent Core: SWEET. I AM SO THERE TOMORROW. (probably costs 50 cents...some well spent 50 cents fuhuuhuuhuu)

MBAC made the arcade for me this year.  Took me off KoFXI, which I play a lot.  It's been too long since I've tried to play the game seriously, so my play was a bit inconsistent, but it was still quite fun.  And it was a pleasant surprise to find other people who could play.  If anyone here is wondering who I was, I was the Akiha and V. Sion player.  With a little Ren to the side.

I had no idea where I could find some drum sticks, however I am aware of the sensitivity of the machine and did not bang it "bongo style" with my palms rather I lightly tapped it with my index and middle fingers causing me to do poorly and straing my forearms. Luckily, a nice individual, as they often are at Fanime, offered to let me use his sticks on the last song.

On Monday (I do believe) I saw a few people playing this one type of fighting game on the 360 where it looks like bubblegum crises char. fighting.  I asked them what the game was called but they didn't knew so I was wondering if someone here knew what it was called.  Thanks for any asst.

Going to have to disagree with you, BIG TIME!!! I saw a decent amount of people playing HnK and those first time players (including me) seemed to have enjoyed the game even if we didn't know how to do some things at first. If you have nothing good or nice to say about a game, just don't say it.

I was in the arcade plenty for MBAC/KoFXI/GGXXAC and I usually saw the HnK machine completely vacant.  Compared to any of the other games in the fighting game line, HnK was obviously the least played.
