Yes, the digital negatives are the unedited photo files. I'm fine with cosplayers having the originals and doing their own edits and posting, since they're from their shoot.

Glad to know this one is happening again! My friend is working on Winry and I'm working on Scar.

My friend is working on FF7 Tifa, and I'm working on Barret. It'll be awesome to be there!

I'm excited to attend Fanime, which will be my third year. I’m offering my photography skills to anyone looking for a photographer and taking bookings. My hope is that my decade of fashion, editorial, and advertising experience will be of use to you in photographing your awesome costumes!

I'm offering 20 minutes of photography for $20, for solo. You will receive the digital negatives of the photos within one week of the convention’s end, with two edited shots of your choice.

Longer shoots of 50 minutes for $40 are available if there are back-to-back time slots open. There is an additional $10 per person in the shoot beyond the first.

You can pay cash in person at the time of your shoot.

Book a time by contacting me via message. When you do, please send me the following information:
Name / Day and time slot you're interested in booking / Contact info / Character and series / Solo or duo or group / Any extra info I should know, especially if you have a preference for outdoor or indoor shoots

Hotel and Facilities / Re: First Fanime Hotel Help
« on: November 20, 2017, 01:37:48 PM »
I guess it was bad for me to think 8 months out would be enough time to reserve a room haha.

If you haven't grabbed your Fanime tickets, get them now. The sooner you get your tickets, the higher in priority you are for getting those special Fanime reservations. Also, the rates are special for Fanime, much lower than the typical rates. If you're low in priority, you'll have to get rooms much further away than the higher priority (for example, I waited until December to get my tickets, then had to get a hotel room 3 miles away from the convention).

Registration / Re: First time Artist Alley Registration
« on: November 20, 2017, 01:33:56 PM »
Tip from a fan of the artist alley:
Have a small panel/board with your calling card info on it. People at the artist alley run out of calling cards quickly, so it's better to have an easy-to-spot backup (or an extra huge stack of cards) than to run out of cards and leave fans without a quick way of getting your contact for future purchases.

Way excited for this gathering! I'm going to go as Wind Waker Ganondorf.

I'm also going to upload a gallery of my gathering photos and will share them shortly.

Buy/Sell/Trade / Re: Selling lots of Japanese imports at Swap Meet
« on: November 20, 2017, 12:15:44 PM »
JC52236: Your idea with the wordpress listing of your merchandise is absolutely brilliant!!!

DankLordPopo: Dude I'm in a similar boat as you, wanting to check out retro gaming items. Best advice, show up early to the swap meet and scour specifically for what you want. There are amazing finds and deals, but those vanish within the first 30 minutes.

Panels and Workshops / Re: Self-Publishing Panel - What Are You Looking For
« on: November 20, 2017, 12:05:24 PM »
The areas that sound most interesting are the marketing and platform building. It's so easy to write something, and even easier to publish, but once that's done, how does a non-business savvy writer type manage to effectively promote that work?

I'm looking forward to checking out your group's panels in '18!

My walkabout shots are being posted here:

Most have been posted, but I have a few more walkabouts, and a bunch from the Nintendo gathering yet to post.

Not cosplaying anything Evangelion, but I soooo totally want one of those amazing buttons. *starry eyed*

Not 100% sure, but I may be dropping by as TP Ganondorf.
That would be so awesome! I've been a fan of your Ganondorf cosplay since I saw the photo in a cosplay photography tutorial. Friggen awesome work!!!

Monday: 10:30am, 2pm, 2:30pm, 3pm, 3:30pm

Tentatively looks like I might (50% sure I can make it) be able to be there as Wind Waker Ganondorf. :D
Hopefully you can make it. :D

All looks good on being able to make it! :D :D :D I'm looking forward to meeting everyone on Saturday!

Nice! We always need Wind Waker cosplay!
It would definitely be fun to see more Toon Link representation! :D

And all looks good for my being able to make it!

Celty sounds like a stellar costume! I just emailed you and look forward to coordinating a shoot with you. :D

If I can make it to this, I will be there as Wind Waker Ganondorf. Still working on making sure my schedule fits. -_- But hoping to be there! *crosses fingers*

Pharaoh in Leather, thanks for all that rambling--your info is SUPER helpful! I'm another first-timer to Fanime and am swarming with questions. Your post helped get a good bearing on some of them. :D

Possibility I can attend as Russell from Up. This conflicts a bit with other stuff I wanted to get to, but this looks more exciting so I'll see about rearranging my schedule. :D

Tentatively looks like I might (50% sure I can make it) be able to be there as Wind Waker Ganondorf. :D
