So how'd it go?  Good, bad, meh?

I liked it better than the rave(s), honestly.  I just wish I had been able to make the dance lesson.

That's my suggestion for next year: make more opportunity for lessons.  Some of us have panels/contests/what have you to go to.  I'm not saying 24-7, but maybe three lesson periods spread throughout the day or something.

I thought we did too.  Right on the dot, in fact.  I think some people were just running farther behind than they realized.

XD it didnt scar me at all! my friend seemed more concerned about it than i was, lol! I'm suprised that i havent seen any pictures of it at all! I'm pretty sure people were taking pictures when it happened!

Probably.

Otherwise that would be completely unfair to poor little Altos like me.

As I'm training towards being a coloratura soprano, I think its REALLY awesome when people hit super low notes. I find nothing impressive about high notes anymore, unless they're above D6 (D above high C). I'd give anyone super bonus points for hitting an incredibly low note, too (if I were a judge, that is ;o).

I always love hitting low notes.  I like the vibration I feel in my chest and the looks on the faces of the other choir girls.

I'm totally in. Ideally, I'd like a later time, as I've got a gathering at 1, but for everyone who's in the early group, this'll be great. I'll have a few exercises to contribute as well ^_^

Staff permitting, we'll try to have the sound system up by 11:30AM on Saturday so ppl can come in and warm up. 5 MINUTES per person, unless there's no one else waiting to warm up.

I'm also leading a group in warm-ups that classical singers use, but off to the side since we won't need any equipment.  We won't actually sing our songs, just warm up our lips and vocal cords.

Calling all contestants!  I have noticed that quite a few of you are nervous about the contest on Saturday, and some have even expressed interest in warming up with a group.

I am willing to lead a group through the warm-ups that my voice teacher has been doing with me in order to help everyone relax and sing your best.

Hell, even if you just want to sound good for open mic, you're free to join us.

You know what?  Here's what I'll do.  I'll skip the Naruto gathering and just go to the karaoke room.  I'll try to get a quick lunch (or at least a little something in me) after the SnJ gathering, change my clothes, and meet anyone who wants to warm up with me at the karaoke room.

Okay, for everyone that wants to warm up with me, I'm going to the Naruto gathering at 1, rushing back to my hotel room to change after no more than an hour there, and then meeting up at the room.  I don't know what we'll have in terms of space, but if you haven't gone yet, look for a girl in Merciful Goddess cosplay (white dress, gold accessories, long dark ponytail) and you can join me.
