Stage fright my butt. The girl who played Envy had SF but she managed to do the skit.
#622
Hmm, sounds cool.

Speaking of Sloth, when my friend was brainstorming the skit we did for the Masquerade, we were going to have a Sloth, but the person that was going to play her didn't want to be in the skit.

Well......I'm probably still going to need help to do it. I can't garuntee that I can do the costume, but I can try.
#625
Just a random bump to show that I'm still here

Kima, I don't know a thing on how to sew, so it is somewhat hard for me
#627
I might go as Rock Howard, but it all depends on if I can get the jacket done.

Any place with good food is fine by me. The thing is we would have to know what kind of food people want to eat, so we don't have any complaints from anyone other than the people not in costume.

How about a place with some good food? My brother said there's a resturant near the Center that has great food. As for stuff to do at the Gathering, what does anyone want to do with a Greed (aka me)?
#630
Ok, MisakiFan has made this gathering a whole lot more interesting

Lunch would preferably better since if it's dinner, some people won't be there due to whatever event is going on at the time

Raenef - Demon Diary - Looks simple enough to do.
Primula - Shuffle! - I agree on the wig thing being the only thing stopping you on this one.
Haruhi - Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu  - Also looks easy.
Weda - Jungle wo Itsumo, Hale Nochi Guu - Looks easy.
Suzurin - Suigetsu - Found no photos
Bridget - Guilty Gear X - Depends if you can find something that looks like his/her dress and then there's also the headcloth. I would say try looking around for people that are cosplaying as Guilty Gear characters for help on that one.
Souseiseki - Rozen Maiden - Looks easy
Kohaku - Melty Blood - Looks easy
Shana - Shakugan no Shana - Looks easy
Eclipse - Demon Diary - Looks easy
Rin - Shuffle! - Looks easy
Dr. Clive - Jungle wo Itsumo, Hale nochi Guu - Found no photo
Suiseiseki - Rozen Maiden - Looks easy

I have to agree with zoupzuop2 here and say go with the characters you like and work from there.

About the cheapness thing, the Greed costume I used was kinda done on the cheap and on the fly too. Bought the black shirt I used underneath for $10, bought the black shirt/vest thing for $20, bought the armbands for $16, had the black pants, glasses and shoes at home. Only hard thing was finding the right fur, sewing it on and stuffing it (had this done by my sister since she can sew). Anyways, I would have to see these characters to see what they look like since the only one I have seen before is Bridget.

WHAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!! Sorry for that reaction, but I'm also in San Mateo County. This a total surprise. Well the question would be which characters you like since there are a number of easy ones,
#635
Why 2008 and not 2007?
#636
Thats cool that you got a video of the transformation AE

This is from Cosplay.com, submitted by someone that took a photo of me. I do hope the girl that took a photo of me outside when I was heading over to the auditorium for the Masquerade posts her photos if she can because she was lucky enough to get a photo of me with the homulculi symbol on my hand which was done after the FMA Gathering.

#638
Wish I could see that one since we were doing those photos in the back when your group went up. Was kinda cool to sit next to your group.

Group 42, the skit with the Sins and Ed and the bra. Pretty much the writer of the script (the girl who played Lust) was nervous because she felt that it would be all her fault if the skit didn't go well, the girl who played Ed was nervous in that she didn't want to mess up, the girl who played Envy was nervous because of being up on stage in front of an audience. As for me, I was a bit nervous in that I was hoping I wouldn't screw up and hoping I would do a good performance.

^ Thats pretty cool. My group were all pretty nervous as well, oddly enough I was the one that wasn't nervous at all and I was a bit nervous before going into the auditorium.
