I'm going to see if I can hit up the con at least one day, but as of right now things aren't looking so good

I am sorry to announce that I will most likely not be attending Fanime this year.  I don't see myself having the funds to make it this year.  Sorry to everyone who was hoping I would be doing photoshoots again this year.

Hopefully I will attend next year!

Although you misidentified one of the characters.  She's not cosplaying Lara Croft she's cosplaying Lucia from Devil May Cry 2.  ;)

And my internet connection is a bit more stable now, I got a lot of shoots up last night, and I should be getting a bunch more up tonight.  Photos from gatherings will be going up after the individual shoots, and random photos will be going up after that.

Stayed at the Marriot, as usual.  And as usual I had a wonderful stay.  I got one of the aforementioned sexy corner rooms overlooking the fountains and the park on the ninth floor.

Pros:
Quiet and efficient AC
Room safe for storage of my laptop extra camera and cash
Absolutely sublime king bed.  Seriously one of the best beds I have ever slept in.
Housekeeping kept the room nice and clean.
Staff was always nice and helpful.

Cons:
Despite having a sexy flat screen TV, there was no high def programing and it was set on stretch mode.  Also I couldn't get it to switch inputs so I didn't get to use my PS2.
Had to wait for two hours for a baggage cart on Monday.
Elevators, as always, make me feel a little queazy.
We found an empty bag of gummy worms under our bed.  We thought that housekeeping had eaten our gummy worms until I found our unopened package in one of our bags.  Kind of gross.

I'll definitely be staying at the Marriot again next year.

I had no problem with the Marriot busboys, they were all very nice and courteous towards me and my luggage.  It doesn't surprise me though that they might get a little careless after helping hundreds of people check in and out.  Don't forget this was a very stressful weekend for them.

I'm so sorry to hear this happened to you MissNintendo!  I hope that this person gets properly reprimanded.

Thanks to everyone for being patient about your photos.  My internet connection has been acting up since I got home so uploading photos is taking some time.  I'm PMing them as they get uploaded.

I'm going to call my ISP tomorrow and see what can be done about getting my speeds back to normal.

I got some great shots of the protesters in hilarious juxtaposition with cosplayers.

Just a quick preview of what I got (more photos to come as I have time to upload them to proper hosting).

So after seeing the lines just to get the AnCafe tickets I was like "Nah I'm not gonna wait to go to that."

So what happens Sunday?  You guess it they just start handing out tickets to the concert about an hour before it started.  And not like a couple, no they had giant stacks of tickets to give out.  I laugh at anyone who stood in line for a ticket (I didn't even use my ticket because my friend was sick so I stayed by her side in the hotel).

Wow what a weekend!

A big thank you to all of the models!  You guys were all wonderful, and I'm glad to have met you all!
