BAP is a local strategy game group that meets monthly in Foster City. Most games there tend to be abstract Eurogames and complex boardgames.
As an unofficial demo monkey for Fantasy Flight Games, I'll be hosting Descent and Tide of Iron. Descent is a dungeoncrawl boardgame, and Tide of Iron is a WWII tactical boardgame. If you've played Munchkin or Magic, you'll find Descent easy to play. I can also bring other more casual card games to play, such as Mag-Blast, which we played at the Raging Waters picnic, and Anima, an RPG card game, with fantastic Japanese and European art.
If you're coming from San Jose, we can meet at Palo Alto at 11am, grab some lunch, then carpool to Foster City.
