Yeah I read Paradise Kiss volumes 1-5 & I think the fashions are so exotic. (I love all of Ai Yazawa's works). Personally I think the anime is a bit weird looking, but maybe that's just me.

Well this guy wanted me to take a picture of him. He didn't turn the knob thing on his one-use camera so I got confused for a long time. He got pretty annoyed and asked someone else to take a picture of him. I felt dumb afterwards...

My first anime would have to be Sailormoon (the horribly dubbed version) played on UPN 44. Also Please Save My Earth, when they played decent anime on KTEH.

I think it's because it's aimed for the younger audiences (just listen to the theme song). I remember it was a trend to like Pokemon back in 6th grade until people found it boring because of its "childish" themes (or something). It might be the marketers..trying to make money off of everything. :\ I don't really know..people just grow out of it like I did. But I don't hate it..I still watch it with my brother.  :D
