WOW! 2009 is over and it will take me a week to recover from all the fun! :P

Thank you to everyone for all your hard work, patients, understanding, support, and compliments. My staff and I appreciated it! I loved the pictures everyone drew and all the kind words they really helped get me through some tough moments and brightened my day.

So now is the time for feed back and to vote in the new poll. I look forward to EVERYONE's comments, suggestions, and eagerness to take 2010 over the top!

So... how was it this year?

Some, if not most, cospeeps may be aware that there were two certificates given out this year. A B&W certificate signed by me and a color certificate signed by Fanime 09 con chair & the live programming director. I would like to personally thank Tony and Jason for recognizing the organizers of gatherings/events for all the hard work they do. If you attended one of these gatherings as a cospeep you may be aware that there was a special reward from the con chair and live programing director that went along with a colored certificate of recognition. I had the privilege of presenting these certificates and all were well deserved.

Unfortunately, not all the B & W certificates of recognition were distributed because several organizers did NOT check in with the table. I must stress the importance of check in so that my staff can do their job and we/I are/am able to locate your gathering. If you would like your B & W certificate still please pm me with your 09 gathering and info on how I can get it to you.

As for my highlights running this new area:

Loved it when someone would look at one of the gathering info boards and get a puzzled look on their face. For three years now I have set up the info Manga style and every year it takes someone a while to figure it out. This year was no exception. My staff and I loved it when a small group were staring for a few minutes at the board and one person looked over and said, "I think your papers are out of order?" They were told that it was set up like a manga and the look of "OHHHH!" that came over the group put smiles on everyone's face. If that was you and your friends... thank you for making my staff smile ^^) It did get a bit crazy at times... especially Saturday but more on that later... and many of you stopping by to pick up the wordsearch, asking questions, signing or drawing cool pictures or just saying hi helped all of the gatherings/event staff feel appreciated. Many of us are cosplayers too and missed being out there participating at times.

Loved the table signage and I am putting it together into a 09 gatherings/events memory book that can be seen next year.

Loved the recognition given to the organizers by the other cospeeps for the hard work &/or for those few peeps that stepped up to save a gathering and took on the roll 24 hrs before con to keep it on the official list.

Loved seeing so many new and well done cosplays. I wish I could recognize everyone that I saw, but as a costumer some just got props from me on construction &/or ingenuity.

Loved all the hugs! Squidges are the best and sometimes it gives me the strength to keep going!

I am deeply appreciative and thankful to all those who listened to my staff and all the Fanime staff, especially when God's disciples showed up Saturday and everything shifted to a sharp left. The patients and understanding that everyone showed proves to me that the hearts of the attendees, cosplayers, and the rest are truly good. Thank you :)

Lots to work on for this department with things to tweek, things to dump, and things to surprise all of you! ^^)

All in all I loved every crazy minute of it! I look forward to feedback and thank all of you for your attendance at the 65 gatherings and/or 16 cosplayer run events that were listed this year!

Gotta say that going to Gatherings is some of the most fun I have at Fanime.  Running a rather large Gathering (Naruto was 100+ cosplayers this year) really keeps me on my toes...but I love it.  Every year the thought runs thru my head, "Am I going to come back to Fanime next year?"  and I immediately answer myself with, "Heck yeah!  What would I do without my Naruto Cosplayers?"

B, I gotta say you rock.  This year I really felt like things went so much smoother and we had so much more support from the convention.  You did it and I can't thank you enough.  I framed my certificate and put it on the wall.   ;D

The "witnesses"...well I don't like them.  Nothing we can do but turn the other cheek and ignore them.  I wish the Bleach! Gathering great luck with them next year.  I'm excited to have Sunday for 2010!   :D

Long story short, I love Gatherings.  This year was like Gatherings to the extra degree and I had a total BLAST!  Thank you B and Staff, you guys are THE BEST!!!  I owe you guys a soda next year.   ;D

It was greatly organized and the boards around the area really helped when I forgot when a gathering was. I don't really have much to say other than it was done swimmingly awesome. Keep up the good work. :)

As for organizers not coming to the table, I suggest making that particular statement stand out more in the third post. Not to be a prude but a lot of people probably think your posts are tl;dr so they may just skim that part over even if it's in bold and underlined. The third post in particular has lots of things underlined and bolded so I think you should change it up so things stand up more. I would keep a consistent name for the organizer person instead of having "gathering organizer/thread overseer &/or cosplayer event organizer." Yeah, they may be different people for every single thing but underlining all that defeats the purpose of emphasizing that part when a good majority of the sentence is underlined.

I didn't realize there was a special format to the boards. It was pretty easy for me to look it over and find what I wanted. This year was the first time I had to go check one, so I thank you very much. (It was also my first time to a gathering.) It was very simple and easy to read. For me at least. I am definately planning on cosplaying next year.

I definitely think it is an improvement. There are a few font size and color changes I would do personally but it's just my humble opinion/suggestions.

well if anyone i could personaly thank it have to be you B. (well your staff too =]) not only did the gatherings list help me bunches but i was able to make a complete and right on time schedule list.
my apreciation really goes out to you because i know like us cosplayers and event organizers like myself, you put alot of work into what you do for the staff and yourself to make sure us cosplayers are satisfied and happy. again your dedication to all the gatherings (Espicially to the Host Club) was mostly gratified and to be honsest we couldnt possibly have a better organizer than you to keep us on track with the whole con and against those wacky protesters , the certificates were really nice to have allong the rewards that came with were highly apreciated by most of gatherers. (i know i was completly happy)

LOL.  I know you guys can handle it.  Honestly the cosplayers were doing fine.  I think I was the only one getting frustrated by them...but I'll have a better megaphone next year so the noise won't be such an issue anymore.  If you need some Ninja backup or an extra megaphone, just let us know.    I'm usually at the Bleach! Gathering for pictures anyway. :)

I am working on alternative solutions to the problem and I will be in contact with both of you about something soon. I only ask that while planning your gatherings this year neither of you get set on a specific time just yet :P I will explain more later to both of you, but the current project I am working on needs to be concluded before I can run with it. (I know what a teaser I am *LOL) but it should be a whole lot of fun if I can pull it off (oh, and work for the department... but fun for all the attendees!) XD

Thanks to Brightheart I have a megaphone for next year :) SO with 3 megaphones things should prove to be more equal on our side *LOL :P

@Yuu: Just work on the thread for now. The gathering will work out just fine. Keep checking back for updates to any of the first three posts here so that you are aware of any changes. If you have a question just ask. You can always pm me too. ^^)

we should have backgrounds for the gatherings. Maybe create something similar to whatever gathering at the time.

BSaphire, Did I send the Pokemon Gatherings PM yet about the date and time? I thought I did, but I can't remember anymore. o.o

If not, I'll send it right away. (I learned my lesson. Last year was crazy. x.x )

@EJAY420: Though this would be nice to have, the gatherings are run by the cosplayers/attendees and not Fanime. I have talked with different Fanime departments about setting up something for photos, but the gatherings can get to big for a standard background. The area's where the gatherings take place are pretty nice so most of us are happy with that ^^)

@luluuxduplica1223: Yes you did on the 16th of January. ^^) All the info was posted with it. I will post the big gatherings first and then go through the submissions.

Yeah last year was crazy  :o with 65 gatherings and 17 cosplayer events. 08 had 66 gatherings with 11 cosplayer events. This year looks to be around 60 gatherings give or take.

Hey there B,

Got myself a bit of a quandary (don't even know if that's the right word for this). Now I know that there is both a SNK vs Capcom Gathering and a Fighting Game Gathering going on Friday, but I've seen in the topics that there are people that aren't able to make it on those days. I was wondering if it was possible for me to create and run a 2nd Capcom vs SNK gathering for those cosplayers/people that aren't able to make the first gathering (kind of similar to what happened in 2008 where that exact situation happened and a unofficial 2nd gathering was setup and done on a Sunday)? I did get the OK from the Capcom vs SNK Gathering organizer via the Fanime board in the Cosplay.com forums, so all I need is a reply from you.

I know that were supposed to wait for the ginormous gatherings to pick their times but just how long do we wait?- i mean are they given a certain amount of days? Or do we just wait until they have all chosen a time?

@ bahamutknightzero: In years past there have been gatherings that did more than one day, and I did list both on several occasions, but I don't always recommend it. In the case of C vs Snk here are a few points to consider when making your decision: traditionally it has been Friday evening at either 5 or 6 pm, many do attend this one due to the large number of gatherings that are happening on Sat and Sun., and Sat will be the Fanime "Fantasy RPG & Final Fantasy ALL" gatherings which may take away from what you would like.

My recommendation is to talk with the peeps and see where the majority wants it to be, but it wouldn't hurt to have it listed for it's original day and time for now. You can move it later or even add another day and time when more people are on and posting what they are doing.

I also want to note that over the last 5 years there are approximately 15% (averaged) of the cosplaying attendees that are not on the forums and don't know about the gatherings till they show up to con. It is only later on that they find out about all this work we do during the year to handle 60+ gatherings in an organized fashion and then join the forums (either Fanime or C.c if not both ^^) after Fanime is over.

@ Yuu: I appreciate your patients, everyone's for that matter, and know that the large gatherings are waiting due to an event I am try to get the final ok with. This event has been in the works since June of 2009 and though we have not achieved any of the last three launch dates Sara and I have set because of set backs with approval, we are trying to get the decision determined ASAP.

Please don't be upset with the organizers of the large gatherings. I am taking time request submissions to help expedite the process once we know which way this event is going to go, which I PROMISE will be decided soon because we don't like this delay either. So if you want to submit your info for your gathering (s) you are organizing just follow the procedure and make sure all your info is in on your PM to me. Only when it is complete will it be placed on my procedure list for processing the request.

If you are wondering if a gathering you are attending has requested a day and time I altered the 4th post of this thread to reflect which gatherings have submitted completed info and are on the list, but I did NOT list them in any particular order. There is also a 2nd list that has the gatherings that are currently incomplete because they don't have all their info on their pm. They should send me it asap so that their request can be placed on my process list (the 1st one).

Again, sorry for the frustration and I hope this helps you to understand why things are currently backlogged. I REALLY appreciate everyone's patients and understanding. If this event happens it will be an event that any badged attendee can show off their talent (with in rules and guidelines of course :P ) but fun can be had by ALL! If for some reason we can't do it this year we will look into finishing the process for next year... but let's hope it doesn't come to that :)

BTW... I will be updating the 4th post next :)

Bit of a clarification:

1) I didn't necessarily say a change of date to the Capcom vs SNK gathering, I know that it's traditionally been on Friday and wouldn't ask for a change from that. This would be a bit of a branch off-shoot from the 1st Gathering that K&K is running.

2) Made no mention of holding the 2nd gathering on Saturday (would be suicide on my part what with the other big gatherings and Masq. the same day), but on Sunday instead probably around the same timeframe (around 5pm).

Current Poll results *2/24*

Out of 129 votes (combined Fanime & C.c polls)

• 84% Found the gathering/event information for Fanime 09
• 10% Could not find the gathering/event information for Fanime 09
• .05% didn't care either way about the info for Fanime 09

I don't know about you, but I am really happy with the poll results! Since 2005 I have been organizing the gatherings that have happened at Fanime and what many of you don't know is some of the statistical information I have accumulated over the years. I will give you some of it in a very condensed form :P

In 5 years the Fanime Cosplayer gatherings have increased 49.2% (27 in 2005 to 65 in 2009) and the Fanime Cosplayer Events have increased 6.8% (2 in 2005 to 17 in 2009.) We now average 60 + gatherings a year with 6 (on average) Cosplayer run events.

Now the reason why I am so happy with the poll results is simple: for the last 5 years I have been trying to get the info on the gatherings and events to all the cospeeps that come to Fanime and have averaged 20% or more could not find it. This means that gatherings were smaller than they could have been, cosplayers new to Fanime didn't get as many opportunities to join in the gathering & event fun with others, and their overall experience was less than it could have been.

So I have been attacking that 20% fall off with a vengeance over the last 5 years. Besides everyone's hard work organizing and developing their gatherings, the main thing I can think of that has taken that 20% to 10% is Fanime's Recognition of it's cosplaying attendees. I do not know of another convention that formally recognizes it's cosplayers with a department set up to organize, assist, and further develop the "cosplaying" experience like Fanime now does!


Some of us know the changes that have happened over the years and attend enough other conventions to realize how important all of this is. If you get the opportunity this year please thank Fanime for providing us with this unique opportunity and let's all work together to make 2010 the best year yet!

Checkout for most hotels is at 12:00 on Monday, so the 10:30 gathering gives everyone a full hour for the gathering then a half hour before checkout. At the very least, I know myself and the gathering organizer will be there.

I can leave the original, but given the reschedule, it's unlikely people will go to that one; there aren't many attendees as it is, so once we decide on a new time I assume we'll all go to the new one. I'll see if any of the attendees would be willing to check in for the current timeframe, though. I'm checking to see if they're good with Monday at 12:00, I'll keep you updated. Thread cleanup begins 12/1/2010. Time submission requests begin 1/6/2011. Returning 60+ cosplayer gatherings get 1st choice of times. If you are listed in the following then you need to determine your day, time and location for at least your 60+ gathering (s) but I would appreciate it if your event info was ready also. Some of you are handling more than one gathering so you may include the other gathering & event info with your 60+ returning gathering info also. Same Time Submission Request process as last year. If you are the new organizer for a previous 60+ cosplayer gathering listed above you need to do the same process as the returning. Time Submission Requests begin January 6, 2011 so don't pm me your info until then.

For all other gatherings and events: You may send your Time Submission Requests via pm from Jaunary 6, 2011 on, however I recommend waiting until the large gatherings are listed first and have all your info ready for the pm. Incomplete requests will not be processed until I have all the info. If your gathering doesn't fill the requirements I can not list you so please refer to posts 1 -3 of this thread.

It is almost a new year and the time will fly by. Are your cosplays ready? :)

I have updated the "Locations Abbreviations" key (noticed that some stuff was missing :P ) and I clarified the areas a bit more. If your gathering has already submitted and your location is now not where you had planned it please pm me with the correct location.
If a location is in Red then you must request it from me and get it ok'd. There are special rules for these area's, but it isn't all that complicated :)

Reminder for Organizers: Post #4 now contains the Submission & the Confirmation formats & info. Please refer to this post for the 411.

The first post has been updated! Now, not all submission requests were posted. I am waiting on the large 60+ gatherings from last year to pm me their info. Code Geass, Katekyo Hitman Reborn, and Kuroshitsuji are the three that are left to PM me their info.

I know that Code Geass and Katekyo HR have new organizers, but they will get 1 choice privilege due to last years #'s of attending. All returning 60+ gatherings have 1 hour in their requested locations, they can change the day from last year (pending no conflict with another large 60+ gathering's location) and if they have other gatherings those get posted at the same time as their large gathering. See post #4 for the info on how to submit (via pm) your Submission Requests.

@ the other organizers: (If you haven't sent me a PM yet with your gathering/event info)
You can send me your Submission Requests (via PM) if you know all your info already. Please don't forget to have your URL's and Name info on your PM's. I run the submission list by date so if your info is complete you stand a better chance of getting the day/time/location you have requested.

As a reminder: a MP (meeting place) is a location for everyone to meet and then move to the location for the gathering/event. A L (location) is where the gathering/event will be held. If you are going to do photos and then move off site for a tea/picnic/fun photos = list the location of the gathering and then put L#2: for fun photos/picnic/tea or what ever may be happening and that location.

So as things stand right now I have 18 of a possible 68 gatherings listed & 3 of a possible 9 events listed.
I think we will match last years 75 gatherings and 13 events at this point! *Yeah for Crazy Cosplay Madness & Mayhem!* :P

Hi Azreale :) I'm still waiting on three 60+ gatherings to send me their pm's and get them posted before I move forward on posting the  other requests I have gotten. A couple of things on your request:
MP & L on gathering and event are a little confusing at this point, but we can figure that out after the returning 60+ get up on the list.
I'm not sure if you are aware that Kuroshitsuji and the Lolita teas are both on Sunday also. Lizchan33 runs the Lolita and Chaosbark is running the Kuroshitsuji. Your requested time will put you right in the mix of things. Don't worry cause it has a way of all working out :) Just hang in there cause everyone is working on finalizing stuff.

Everyone should be getting a photography order in place for their gatherings/events and submitting them here on this thread. look for Confirmation info on post #4.

A NOTE TO ALL LARGE GATHERINGS (60+) & EVENTS:
Please check in 1/2 hour before so that I can send my line control staff with you! It is really important to check in so that you can find out if anything is happening that can affect your gathering/event. Check in is for the ORGANIZER (S) only. Those attending a gathering/event do not need to check in at the Gatherings Table.

Will This list be Posted or Displayed at Fanime? One year i remember seeing a sign posted but last year nothing.

They are up every year :) They are on Blue boards stationed around the convention center. I don't know why you didn't see one at least :) I have one at the foot of the stairs on both sides and one at stage zero. There is one on the second floor as you go into each hotel and there is one over by reg. That's a given and that = 6. I still don't know why you didn't see at least those six.

Well never fear, if you can't find a gatherings info board you can always come by the gatherings table and inquire there :) If you have a way of getting "Twitter" then you can follow all the info during the day with out worry! We post every half hour during the day till the last gathering! :P Look at the top of the first post to find the url XD

Last year I can say that the boards were not necessarily moving.... it was just so crowded during the day that they were hard to see sometimes. So this year you can also find the info at the "Cosplayer Hangout" which will be in the Winchester Room of the Hilton hotel.

Lots of options to get the info :)

I didn't receive a pm about my time change request, or will you be making our requested changes at the end of confirmation? I'm afraid that if my gathering(Fairy Tail) doesn't get moved to earlier in the day, I wont be able to run it since I'm in the masquerade in a different costume that requires a lot of prep time. :[

Each main gathering organizer should have more than one helper. Please list their info along with yours at the end of the PM.

Kuroshitsuji & Lolita ~ If you are going to use the location (as per our previous discussion) Please list it as CH2 WRH.

The CPMS (Concourse Patio Marriott Side) will NOT have our table and chair set up out there to allow for more room for gatherings. You may use this location just put CPMS in your pm

Also, any other gatherings that you are running can be submitted along with your large returning info but please put Multi Gathering in the SUBJECT Line.

As of today 1/30/2012 : I am only allowing the large 60+ returning gatherings to have 1st choice option on their location. This means your secondary gatherings may be bumped around.

I am waiting to see if any new locations can be added in a month or two pending the construction in the area. The fountains in front of the convention center NO LONGER CONTAIN WATER. They have been filled in with dirt and flowers. I am hoping that it looks nice by FanimeCon so we won't have lots of photos with construction in the background, though the Durara gathering may like it :P

Final Fantasy VII gathering as never gotten 60+ cosplayers, but we have been around for a long time. I will just have to wait.

Because of certain real-life circumstances, I will no longer be able to organize the Fairy Tail gathering(Link (http://forums.fanime.com/index.php/topic,15097.0.html)). There aren't very many confirmed characters at this point, but I still thought I'd offer it up if anyone else wants to take over.

Has Masquerade Day been announced, yet? CLAMP gathering is always on the day that Masquerade is NOT on.

Per the official Masquerade thread, no decision yet. I wish they would get that out there because it impacts a lot.

p.s. I have photos of the area where all 60+ gatherings should be held. It will have afternoon shade and is a decent onsite location. I know that all the 60+ gatherings I am running will be located there. They will have the 1st choice option in this location at all times if on the official list and will have one hour in that location.

I would also like to note a reminder that it is now the "Flowerbed in Front" =FiF and not "Fountains in Front." The construction area is extensive and there is just no way to really get around having it in the background for many of the locations.

I want to thank everyone for being patient and working with the department and myself through this obstacle course of 2012.

Well I guess Valve will move to wherever you want us to be Sapphire.

As fond as I am of my Hatsune Miku sleeves absorbing the sun's heat and frying my arms (though last year the weather was mostly quite nice), I certainly wouldn't mind moving the Vocaloid gathering to a shaded area. xD I'm sure wherever you'd like us to move would be fine, B.

@ Heulangel: I would recommend Saturday for CLAMP. That's all I can say.
@ Avairrianna: Working on the list and I'm not moving anyone just yet. I will let you know if I need to.
@ Armored-Heart: If you saw how ugly it is out front right now you will probably like the new 60+ gathering area way better. It is FCC HS and will be located right on the back side of the Hilton Hotel. There is street access, 2nd floor of the Concourse access and through the new Cosplayer Hangout location access.
@ luluuxduplica1223: If you check this *LOL I would recommend the new 60+ gathering location for Pokemon... FCC HS

Hey BSaphire, for the Final Fantasy VII Gathering I would like either 11 am on Saturday or 2pm on Saturday.

Ok Cospeeps! The location key now has a max size located to onsite locations. If you expect/know your gathering/event will be larger than an area will allow please look at another location.

@Hetalia I changed your location because there is no way you will fit where you planned. If you want construction in your back ground I would recommend FiF MS. Please PM me ASAP if you want it changed.

I'm not sure if I'm entirely familiar with that part of the convention center, and I'm worried about my Vocaloid gathering's cosplayers getting lost, since last year it seems as though we ended up in a location slightly different from the one I had originally intended for us to be in due to some confusion (it all worked out though.)

It's not a silly question! A lot of people are going to ask it I'm sure...

If you are out in front facing the convention center:
Go right towards the Hilton Hotel. Right before the hotel you will see the tree lined walkway that will lead up to the stairs and cement slab.

If you are on the 1st floor of the convention center:
Walk on the first floor to the Hilton Hotel. Go into the Hotel via the convention center access on the first floor and then turn right when you get to the Hilton bar (not in the bar but right before it.) You will then enter the Cosplayer Hangout for 2012 where the C2C Costume repair station will be *note please have your badge ready if you travel through to speed up the process* and then you will go through the door which will lead you out to the cement slab.

If you are on the 2nd floor of the convention center:
Walk towards the Hilton Hotel. Before you get to the double glass doors that go into the Hilton Hotel 2nd floor lobby entrance you can exit down one of two stairwells (*Note that in the past these doors have only been exit doors but I am working on having them unlocked so that people can get in after the gatherings... no promises though) which will lead you out to the cement slab.
If you miss the stairwells then just go through the glass doors and then the door way into the Hilton Hotel. From there preceed down the stairway to the 1st floor Hilton Lobby and turn left... around the stairs and up a little way just before the bar turn right. Go through the door leading into the Cosplayer Hangout and follow the directions from there.

If you are lost... just ask how to get to the Cosplayer Hangout and go from there.

This is going to be the year of patients and understanding. We have never been so spread out and everyone will need to not let the little things trip them up. If we all help each other it will make the weekend better for all of us.

I just want to throw this out there to all attending FanimeCon 2012:
In the spirit of the Olympics (reason for our "game" theme) Let us all go above and beyond to ignore the trolls that come every year to spew hate and cause pain. Don't give them anything but a smile and hopefully they will not ruin the weekend for any of us.

It will only take one to ruin it for all so let's help each other have a good time.

Now there's what... dirt and plants? It seems so backwards O_o also the massive construction outside the con limits the amount of space given to walk around outside. Most people are going to be confined inside the convention center which could cause mass crowding. So we'll see how this year goes... all I know is I'm sad panda about the fountain.

I'm looking for a World of Warcraft group (if there will even be one)  as I am planning out my costumes.  Does anyone know if there will be any other WoW cosplayers about and what days would they be gathering?

It is not necessary to sign up for a gathering, but it lets the organizers know who is showing up.

Just wanting to check if my submission for the Soul Eater gathering was received since I had sent it a couple weeks ago.

Sorry everyone that all is delayed, I was assimilated back into reality for 4 months and had to find a way to reinsert my "0 & 1" content back into the cyber sea. With that quest now completed I will be catching up on LOTS of stuff and your help and patients is greatly appreciated.

The Official List will not be open till sometime in mid Feb. I need to check out the convention center and alter the location key. *the poll has been reset :)

In the mean time, it would greatly help speed things along if ALL the 2012 60+ gathering organizers PM me with a list of the gatherings they are running and the url to their threads asap. If you have taken over a 2012 60+ gathering please PM me that info also.
If you are not planning on being off site with your 60+ gathering then please plan on using the "big slab" where the 60+ gatherings were located last year. I will know more after Feb 10th when I will be going onsite to look at all the logistical changes that have affected the CG department.

To all other organizers: Please be sure that your thread url is listed in the Official List thread and that your 1st post is set up correctly. You may add a Cosplay.com url, but you MUST have a Fanime forum thread since this is where I will be contacting all of you (mostly via PM.)

As a shout out:
CGD is looking staff/volunteers for 2013. 18+ prefered and all general staff positions are available ie: gatherings, hangout (am & pm shifts), CG game, and CG photography. See the 1st post (at the bottom) in the Cosplayer Gatherings Department thread for more info.

Cosplayer Hangout is looking for C2C workshop/discussion/panel ideas for every day during the con. If you are interested please PM me. Doing these (each is scheduled to be approx. 30-45 minutes long) in the hangout has an upside since I can work them around your gathering schedule easier than the Panels department can.
Hangout is looking for teams to compete in Chopped Cosplay! It's a new year and this will be even better than last year! PM me if you need info on this or check out the Hangout thread.

So today has been busy!
Forum clean up is complete with 65 locked pages of threads! This helps keep the 2013 info up to date and at the cospeeps fingers!

Though the number of gatherings is down, the # of large 60+ gatherings is up. We have 20 - 60+ gatherings and 13 - 20 events... so I'm pretty excited!

NOW... This is VERY Important! If your gathering is scheduled for G9 please check your numbers and get back to me ASAP. My feet on the ground in SJ says we have lost space in this location and that means it will be harder to accomodate more than 45 peeps in a gathering. Now is the time to slide you around. Due to the construction G9 will not be available this year. All gatherings listed as "G9" &/or in red on the 1st post will need to relocate. These gatherings will take PRIORITY at this time until they are situated.

Make sure your SR is complete and sent via PM at the allotted group date. If you are large - mega and miss your SR open date then you will fall to group #3 when it comes to listing. A quick reminder on a few things:
Saturday & Sunday's Fanime's ALL COSPLAYERS gatherings @ 11 am - G9 is for ANYONE in cosplay! I want to see how many  cosplayers we can fit into the new front area and I want any cosplayer to be able to be a part of this gathering :)

If you see a TIME in BOLD then that time is closed. If you see a location listed in RED then it is unavailable. If the information is in GREEN it is programming the Cosplayer Hangout Staff have donated there time to do for everyone so PLEASE go check it out!

Remember to include ALL the info (name stuff especially :P ) when you submit your SR's

CONFIRMATION will start in May so line up your photograph order soon

Still looking for teams for Chopped Cosplay! This year's theme is Attack on Titan and you can find more info in the Cosplayer Hangout thread.

Friday night is the Cosplayer Crane Ceremony - A Tribute to Life and if you would like to use our equipment please let us know so we can have all the right stuff available.
