I'm one of those people who goes to the Twilight movies with a small group of fiercely cynical friends and sits in the back laughing at the fail-ness that is Stephanie Meyer. I mainly go so that when I argue with Twi-hards, I can back my arguments up with examples from the movies.

So yes, I saw it.  Edward is much more stalkerish in this one, and Jacob is getting a bit ridiculous too.  Kristin Stewart's emotionless portrayal of Bella was even more blank and non-exciting than usual.  There were a few good bits though.  My favorite part: Jacob is leaning against his car flexing with no shirt on.  Edward and Bella get out of Edward's car.  Edward takes a look at Jacob and says, "Doesn't he own a shirt??"

According to one of the staff or whatever in the commentay part, they made Vampire sparkles comparing them to marbles because marbles are perfect...I have marbles in my bathroom, they are shitty looking and not perfect. Bella the actor is a former model or whatever has no facial expression. She tried but her face and expression is always the same. Idk...just saying what I kind of remember since most of my girls are Twlight Geeks

I wish Buffy or Alucard would put an end to this. ;-;

Also Pattinson hates Twilight, and I heard he's staying single because no girl sees him as Robert Pattinson. Instead, they see him as Edward Cullen. Poor guy, but hey, he's making bank.

Wait aren't Vampires, regardless of if they sparkle or not, you know, not real anyway?
Ding! Ding! Ding! Ding!  Same thought crossed my mind.

Well, the vampire myth has origins in actual happenings, mostly theorized to be people trying to explain natural phenomena with supernatural reasoning. There are actually distinctions made between vampires of fiction and vampires of folklore, with the latter being considered "real", in the sense that they existed.

On the topic of vampires in fiction, a professor at my university is considered an expert on vampires in fiction.

Just because people dug up corpses in the past and found blood oozing from there mouth does not make Vampires any more real =P

Actually, there are cases that have been more eventful. The most recent vampire case is almost 100 years old, it took place in a small town in Greece. I would type it up but I'm using the internet through my iPod.

To hell with it! Twilight has completley ruined vampires. There are no such things as vampires, just people with Renfield's Syndrome.

back on topic though---

hypothetically speaking though... can "drinking blood" really have any good or adverse affects on the body?

obviously transfusing blood is a good thing...  but i doubt drinking it actually has any healthful merits.

or does someone else have the internet search skills to find an article that would say otherwise?

Well it's a real female fantasy to be the one desired by somebody who hasn't chosen anyone in over a 100 years and to be so irresistible to him. Let's face it men today don't make women feel irresistible for more than an hour! heheehe

Considering woman were treated almost like 2nd class citizens 100 years ago and worse past that, those men were likely not any better.
