am also looking for octopus plushies, but definitely NOT that one. the ones i'm looking for came in multiple sizes, were purple, had kissy faces and made squeaky noises if you squeezed them.

I think it may have been Cute Storm. Their store appears to be out of octopus plushies atm, but they seem to be pretty good about restocking. You can also follow them on deviantArt to see what they've made and what kind of specials you can get.
