Hey my name is Zoe, I'm twenty, and I am looking for someone to room with for Fanime this year.  I've gone to Sacanime a few times but have never been to Fanime before so I am very excited.  I am a gamer geek, along with a lot of anime (not really into everything anime, just love the anime I love), I like Poke'mon, I go to Renaissance Festivals, and other conventions.  I'm a very well rounded geek XD 

I'm fine rooming with both boys and girls, I don't mind either way.  Looking to also make friends from this experience, so I don't mind roomming with many people (as long as I get some sleepies).  Willing to help pay for my share of the room as a roommate, but I don't want to have to pay more then my share.

NEED A ROOM

Hello, my name is Jerry Ho, US Navy. My wife (Phoebe) and I are looking for better options at this point for hotels. A little about us. I am 26 and she is 24. I am currently stationed in San Diego and looking forward to Fanime as a means of R and R for my wife and myself as well as hanging out with some new people and to explore the location a bit. This is year will be our 2nd time at Fanime. My wife phoebe is currently going to college majoring either as a vet or vet assistant. We are both extremely tidy as being military I frequently shower and maintain satisfactory levels of cleanliness and hygiene which my wife also shares, however since we are going to a con and rooming with others, i would prefer the room to be tidy enough so people dont step on each other or their belongings. Drama and PDA will not be a problem, after all beggars cant be choosers.

Hotels - Anything withing a ten minute walking distance to the con would be preferrable. Also we would prefer a three star or higher hotel

Budget - We are willing to pay up to 250 (or more depending on situation) for 4 nights. In other words, thursday night to sunday night. We also require a bed spot

Drink/Smoke/etc. - I dont smoke and neither does my wife. We both drink but only socially as in dinner with friends and etc. If offered a room, we promise NOT TO BRING THE PARTY BACK.

MISC/ REQUIREMENTS - We will be arriving thursday anytime between 8 pm to 12pm depending on the drive as we are coming up from san diego. Also, We take no preferences in our roomies so long as they treat others with respect and are reasonable people and are mindful of other people's sleeping habits.

- No smoking or drinking in the room. We're all here to have a good time, and it can happen WITHOUT alcohol or questionable substances.
- Respect other peoples' stuff, body, food, etc. Paws off others' luggage/stuff! This includes no sexual harassment, no gettin jiggy with it in the room. You can bet we'll be respecting these rules as well.
- Please don't bring any friends/people who aren't staying in the hotel room into the room unless we're there, and get the ok first! My girlfriend had surgery right before she went to her last con, and someone stole her pain medication. It's just a respect thing. - Be respectful of other people in the room, especially if they're sleeping. Con can go late into the night, so the precious few hours of sleep we do get are, well.. precious.

GIVING UP A ROOM

I don't know how strict the cancellation date on this nonsense is, and I'm going to try to cancel it without getting a fee charged, but if I can transfer the room to someone else, that would be much better.

Wyndham San Jose, thursday-sunday, $89/night. if you can take it off my hands, you can make whatever modifications you need before 5/9. Its a double bed room, nonsmoking, and the hotel is 2.5 miles away from the convention center. It sounds like Fanime will be having shuttles this year, so distance shouldn't be a problem (I honestly don't know though, thats what i heard). I live in the bay area and I decided I'd just drive, so I really don't need this anymore.
