They are two different styles of gameplay entirely, I don't think there is a point in comparing this game to Halo, just as there is no point in comparing CoD and Halo.

Halo was heavily influenced by the first Tribes, Starsiege. I prefer Tribes, and I'm happy they revived the series with Ascend.

I wish they'd hurry up and bring it to Steam though. Something's up with my client but I'm too lazy to repair/reinstall.

I was talking in context of FPS gameplay. Yes, physics and storyline(and lack-thereof) is vastly different in some people's perspective, but you have to admit that Halo has more in common with Tribes than Carn Evil...

Well sure, of course.
But both are two different games, and appeal to different people for different reasons, and don't need to be or should be compared with each other, especially with both being overall high quality games.
Except Halo Reach, that Shi is Garbage.
