I say the  should have Moi Dix Mois, but like some one already said I doubt it will happen
Why

petdiekatze

lynch.
Versailles
Rentrer en Soi
The underneath
D'espair Ray
Mucc
Metronome
I am Kitty. Hear me meow.

How do I sound like a good book? Just because I wield a pen does not mean I write myself.

We should invite bands that have been to the states before.
OMG! What the Fugnuggets is going on?!

... Because if given the choice... I would totally want to see a band I've already seen before... instead of a band I want to see but HAVEN'T seen before...

...

Right?

Nakagawa Shoko she did the OP of TTGL

And she also can't sing, and was also at AX this past year already.

Shoko-tan does mostly covers, and of which, sound horrible compared to the original.

I know this has been said before and chances are slim, but I at least want to say something.

More like an artist I love to see perform is Nakagauchi Masataka. He did the 1st ED theme for Yugioh 5D.  ;D

I don't know too many people who take her seriously. She is fun and for god sakes
she puts kitty cat head in her mouth! ;-)

Since this thread comes up every year, I wouldn't mind see at Music Fest:

- DEERHOOF (Local SF band.. still small but did open for Radiohead at the Greek Theater in 2007, just released a new LP last month)

- The Noodles (Known to tour with The Pillows, has come to the US before but in
smaller venues)

Another good band is Abingdon Boys School. If they came now that would really rock, or just for the helluva it how about DBSK. Sure their not Japanese, but their good.

I think i'd really like to see some 'Ali Project'  My friends and I are BIG fans
Word.

Buut, aside from that... anyone with good entertainment value really. I haven't kept up with j-music, but AnCafe had a lot of entertainment value so people I went with who were like "Wtf is this" enjoyed it anyway.

It would be awesome to see LAST ALLIANCE in 2009!

But, happiness would be attained with AnCafe or THE BACK HORN

I'd like to see up hold and mothercoat come back again but I know that's probably not likely.
I would definitely love to see Blood Stain Child though.

I'm probably just reiterating what other ppl have already suggested, but here's my short list:

- Sadie: indicated in interviews that they'd love to play abroad
- lynch.: same as above
- Girugamesh: playing @ Sakura-con
- Sugar: playing @ Oni-con
- heidi.: supposed to be playing at that h.naoto event?
- Sel'm: if you like any of the bands above, be sure to give these guys a try

I think these bands would be eager to play abroad and I would be amazed if just one of these bands came to Fanime, or any combination therein.  :)

I believe Maximum the Hormone is actually a good choice, but my top two are
Moi Dix Mois
and Abingdon Boys School.
