@Shinsengimi: I'm not sure if I can get the Kenshin outfit for you done by then, but if so, you are going to need a wig ^^;

For lack of funds, I have no new cosplays, so I'll be back as Kaoru next year. Although, I have made adjustments to the costumes so hopefully it will fit me better.

My brother has voiced his desire to be Soujiro, though. So I'm looking into commissions for that (Another reason why I won't be having a new cosplay. The money will be spent of his very first cosplay.) Anyways, all the Kenshins and Saitos out there, what is your sword made of? Since am not inclined or equipped to make one, I need to buy one that's con acceptable.

My sword is made out of 1/4" thick pine.
It's convention safe and as for expense, fairly inexpensive. But there was the effort to make it.

The plastic one you're looking at looks like could be okay to use to at a con, and if you didn't mind the price for it.
