Got sick before the con, I was pissed. It cleared up during the con though and It hasn't hit me yet and I hope it doesn't either.

I usually get sick before the con, after the con I don't get sick unless it's about a week or 2 that's when I get sick but so far I'm not sick yet.

allergy sniffles and sneezes.  i'll be fine, then once i step out of my car in san jose i sneeze a lot.  i get back indoors and i'm fine again.

nope.  my allergies consist of sniffles, sneezing, and irritated eyes.
all of which i don't see as a big deal.  i just deal with it. :)

I started showing symptoms a few days ago and am still dealing with the cold.  Unfortunately, they weren't letting anyone call in sick at work this past week, so no rest for me until tomorrow (my regular day off) :(

It's not that we've got shitty immune systems.  Normally, mine is pretty damn good and even when I do get sick, I'm over it in a day or so.  However, we're talking about a con environment, where you have thousands of people staying in enclosed spaces.  Perfect environment for bugs to spread like wildfire (hell, even if it was down to just hundreds of people, it'd still be a good environment for bugs to spread).  It's very common for convention-goers to get some sort of bug while at a con, and has been so for years and years.

I didn't prepare for the cold weather (shirts and shorts and cloudy weather DO NOT mix), so, yeah.

Took some NyQuil last night to stfu my coughing, and holy shit, this morning I kept going back to sleep.

Lawl, cold weather. Silly Californians.

It's why I can't complain about how "cold" 65 degrees is around, say, people in England, because their summers are in the 60s.
