Cosplay Tea

Hello! I am posting this on behalf of Okage-Sama De~ Productions! We are going to be holding what we call our "cosplay tea" in just a few weeks!

When: August 2, 2008

Time: 12:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M.

Where: 2499 Homestead Rd., Santa Clara, Ca 95050

Cost: $7.00

ALL COSPLAYS ARE WELCOME! The staff members will be doing bleach so that we all match, but there is no specific anime theme. So come in cosplay and bring friends! Email us at [email protected] or tell us on youtube (youtube.com/user/okagesamadepro) or myspace (myspace.com/okagesamadepro)

This is a fun little event put together by the members of Okage-Sama De~ Productions, and we would be very happy to see you all there! We're aiming for a minimum of 50 attendees, and we are already in the 30's! There will be games, a raffle, karaoke, cake-decorating contest, food, and a masquerade. Also, OSDP's members, and possibly even some of the attendees, will be selling artwork, and Anime 101 will be there as a vendor. We will probably be putting up more info in the near future, so be sure to keep checking our youtube and our website (okagesamadepro.weebly.com) so you don't miss any info!

Keep in mind theres several other events going on.

I.E :
Ani-Jam in Fresno
Ryu's Birthday gathering
Random other things.

But have fun you guys and gals.

You should have seen there was a decent Naruto cosplayer presense at Comic Con, I was intrigued. :P

i just realized the time of the gathering:

1200PM to 700PM

whoa, thats alot of tea. you guys will be up for days.
and dont even get me started on how many bathroom breaks that will mean.

x.x Woa, sorry for not replying sooner.

Yeah, it's probably too short notice to make any difference by now, but for future reference (we're going to be having many more of these in the future), iti s called a Cosplay Tea, but there's a lot more to it than just that. We provide lunch and dinner as well, and there are games, contests, raffles, karaoke, and a Masquerade. It's more of a (very) mini-con than an actual tea.

Next one will probably be either November or December, FYI. We intend to do 3 a year (April, August, November/December). So, if you can't make this one, then perhaps one in the future :) For those of you who ARE attending, please contact us somehow after the Tea is over---we'd love feedback! Since we intend to host more of these in the future, we would love to know what people like and what they think could be improved.

i've done more Lolita cosplay tea adventures in San Jose and SF.

We all had a blast though. Everyone I know is planning to come back again next. We also plan to bring a lot more people then last time too. X3
